BREAKING THE HIGH TA CASE

A Tone Arm is the indicator on a resistance meter that indicates
the resistance of the subject holding the cans.

A normal healthy resistance indicator is about 5000 ohms to 12000
ohms. When a being gets near a forgotten area of charge, the TA goes up
to 100,000 ohms or more. When the area reveals itself and releases it's
charge, the TA comes back down to the healthy range.

Sometimes a being will be found to have a chronically high TA, 24
hours a day, which means they are always in session and not able to find
the right item to audit.

The following may help to solve the High TA case.

HIGH TA

High TA is caused by mental mass.

Mental mass is the same thing as physical mass, except it is mental
mass, and it provides resistance to awareness and attention.

A will trying to operate its attention while buried in mental mass
can't function, it can't move through the mass.

Mental mass is caused by problems.

A problem is a self determined inability to decide between two or
more mutually exclusive courses of action. To go left, or to go right.

These problems are called ORS.

A problem can also be a self determined decision to choose BOTH of
two incompatible courses of action, to go left AND right at the same
time.

These problems are called ANDS.

A problem can also be a conflict of intentions between two
different beings, one wants to put up a park, the other wants to put up
a parking lot.

Lastly a problem can simply be a quandry about how to solve
something in the physical universe, like build a bridge, or find the
roots of an equation in mathematics.

Not all problems are aberrative unless they become chronically
unsolvable. ORS and ANDS are particularly bad for the psyche, conflicts
with others are a part of life, but if they become part of life and
death, then they can become heavily charged with mental mass.

A problem can be a problem in being, doing, wanting, knowing, or
having.

Problems often manifest as questions.

Do I want to do A or do I want to do B?

An aberrative problem consists of wanting and not wanting the same
thing at the same time.

I want to do A. No I do not want to do A, I want to do B. No I do
not want to do B, I want to do A.

I want to do A AND I do not want to do A.

I want to do B AND I do not want to do B.

This vibration between wanting and opposing the same thing at the
same time creates mental mass.

It is possible for a clear to create problems of his own choice and
not create mass. However non clears tend to dramatize seriousness at
their problems, and in particular at their inability to solve them.

Eventually the indecision becomes suppressed and forgotten, the
being will be found to be off doing something else, and the mental mass
buries itself out of sight, but makes his space heavier, thicker and
more resistive.

Generally beings do not intend to forget problems forever, they
intend to give them a rest and come back to them later, but then they
never do. This is called Q&A, which means question and answer.

Technically Q&A means changing the question every time you get an
answer rather than continuing to ask the same question until ALL answers
to that question are found. By changing the question every time a new
answer arises, one misses all the other answers to any question in the
series, and thus understanding remains forever incomplete.

Example of Q&A:

Auditor: "Tell me a problem"

PC: "Well I don't get along with my mother."

Auditor: "OK, Tell me about your mother"

PC: "Well she is an alcoholic and drinks too much."

Auditor: "OK, Tell me about alcoholism."

This kind of line of questioning might seem to make sense but it is
death on wheels to your preclear.

An example of non Q&A:

Auditor: "Tell me a problem"

PC: "Well I don't get along with my mother."

Auditor: "OK, tell me a problem"

PC: "I smoke too much"

Auditor: "OK, tell me a problem"

PC: "I hate sex"

Now that might seem to open up a lot of areas without cleaning them
up, but the auditor is writing each one down, looking for a complete
list of problems the preclear is having, and then taking up the one that
is the most charged. It won't be a COMPLETE complete list of course,
but you get what you can, and then come back to it later and more
problems will show up.

Notice the auditor does NOT ask the preclear "What problems do you
have?" for that is a question, and questions are also death to a
preclear.

Now let's say that 'I smoke too much' was the item with the
greatest meter read or energy on it when the preclear offered it.

Example of Q&A:

Auditor: "Ok, tell me about smoking too much."

PC: "Well it helps my anxiety"

Auditor: "OK, tell me about your anxiety..."

and away we go towards making a totally crazy preclear.

Example of non Q&A:

Auditor: "Tell me about smoking too much"

PC: "It helps me with my anxiety."

Auditor: "OK, tell me about smoking too much."

PC: "Well I started when I was 3."

Auditor: "OK, tell me about smoking too much."

Eventually the preclear runs out of answers, and the meter dries
up, and the auditor ends that item as completed, then takes up the
greatest reading problem for the next item.

This will get to the core problems on a case very fast, the ones
that need to be handled that all the rest are sitting on. Once the core
problems are found and handled, the auditor then is free to back up the
line, item by item, and flatten them all. To flatten means to check for
charge or interest and run until nothing more is found or the preclear
is happy about it all.

The problem with the preclear is not that he has problems, but that
he doesn't know what they are any more.

But the way if all you did on accessible people was charge for your
services running the above process properly, you would have quite a
practice going in short order.

Notice the auditor doesn't have to know how to solve any of the
preclear's problems, not one of them, and every time the preclear asks
the auditor for a solution, the preclear just put the auditor in
session!. The auditor response is to simply redirect the preclear back
to the session and continue on with it.

Once the preclear FINDS OUT WHAT HIS PROBLEMS ARE, he will solve
them himself. The unknown-ness of the problem is the problem, and thus
knowing the core problem becomes its own solution.

An auditor who offers solutions to a preclear's problems, even if
begged to do so, should be fired for breach of trust.

You are auditing a GodSoul after all, and no one can tell a GodSoul
what the proper solution to his core problems are.

The ultimate in Q&A is to ask your preclear what questions he is or
has been asking, and then when he gives you one, try to get him to
answer it!

I don't recommend it, but if you wanted to try it out some day,
simply run:

Auditor: "Tell me a question you have."

PC: "Where did I come from?"

Q&A Auditor: "OK, tell me about where you came from."

Non Q&A Auditor: "OK, tell me a question you have."

As with problems, when the preclear finds his core questions, they
will start to answer themselves, and all the others will fall into line.

He has gone off and started looking for answers to OTHER questions
and killing himself in the process, because he failed to handle his core
questions properly, mostly a matter of confront, as the answers were
self obvious, the question itself was the answer, and trying to find the
answer then created a problem which didn't exist.

The preclear KNOWS what he is doing here, he chose it after all,
and then he turns it into a question and ruins himself from there on
out.

Since he already knows the correct answer to his question and is
pretending he doesn't, any OTHER answer he finds to the question will,
by definition, be a wrong answer, and so he starts racing down time
seeking a wrong indication, and he comes to feel there is only doom at
the end of time waiting for him.

Which there is, as the correct answer exists BEFORE the question
in time that he is now trying to 'answer'.

He hopes to find the answer in the future you see? It's already
there in the past before he created the question as an act of self
treason.

This is a huge practical joke he has played on himself as a God,
and only a GodSoul could appreciate the ludicrous demise that resulted.

J.E.S.T. means Jokes of Eternal Self Treason
J.E.S.T. means Justice of Eternal Self Truth

If the preclear feels the need to get an answer to a technical
question (how much ram does my computer hold), he can then seek out a
consultant, one who knows more about his questions that he does, but
never an auditor.

The kinds of questions that are killing the preclear anyhow are the
kinds of questions that only the preclear knows the answers to, and if
the auditor dares to try and answer them for the preclear, the auditor
will almost assuredly be handing out a wrong indication. Most often the
core questions are themselves subtle nonsense, and the answer to them is
to drop them entirely. Giving an answer to such a question simply
continues the nonsense, and with it the suffering and insanity.

Wisdom is knowing what questions to answer and not answer, and
knowing what answers to question and not question.

THE SECOND MEANING OF Q&A

But Q&A is also used to refer to the action of starting off from A
headed for B, and half way to B getting side tracked into going to C.
Then on the way to C, the being gets side tracked again towards D, etc.
Thus the original intention to go to B is never completed.

In fact no action is completed because he never gets to C, D, E or
F either. A being completely lost in this kind of Q&A is always in the
middle of going somewhere, but he ALWAYS changes where he is going
before the gets there!

Ever know someone who starts talking about something, usually
important, gets interrupted, and then never comes back to it?

Look upon these poor souls with pity, because every important
question they ever had, they forgot they were asking without ever
getting an answer.

They live life in a chronic feeling of having lost something but
they don't know what. What they lost was what they were thinking about
that was going to get them on with their basic purposes.

Forgetting questions important to one's basic purpose, is death to
the basic purpose and thus to the being.

"Um, let's see, what should I do today? I don't know, I am so
depressed, nothing seems interesting...."

What WAS interesting to them is gone, buried under Q&A.

"You know, I really wish I knew what an A minor diminished 4th was..."

But it gets interrupted, or thwarted momentarily, and they forget
it and never come back to it. So much for the career as a song writer.

They are drowning in that Q&A, and their minds are like a ball of
yarn after a kitten has gotten into it.

It is in this way that problems sink into operating oblivion. The
being starts off headed towards resolving them, and then forgets them
and never comes back to them. This results in an incomplete cycle of
action.

I say operating oblivion because although the preclear is oblivious
to the existence of the unresolved problem, the problem continues to
oscillate in his face and space for the rest of time creating more and
more mental mass until he can't function at all.

The fate of such a preclear is to become a bowling ball.

"Eventually all become marbles on the thetan plane." - Adore

(Thetan means the conscious unit.)

(ADORE can be found at http://www.adore.com)

The resolution of this then is to find and lay bare the core level
problems that the being is caught in and get him back on the course of
resolving them, and then back on track with the practical questions he
lost sight of about his basic purposes.

He may never resolve some of them, but having a problem is not what
sinks a being nor what makes him permanently unhappy. It is having a
problem and forgetting it and not knowing it has been forgotten, and
wondering if something has been forgotten, and concluding no, nothing of
importance has been forgotten.

"Let's see what should I do today..."

The being is doomed at that point with a self creating mass that
will eventually grow bigger than he is, across many lives, and over
which he has no control, and which will eventually tie up more of
himself and his mental energy than he has free to deal with the 'other'
things he also got lost doing along the way.

Everything he does after losing track of his basic purpose is a
substitute purpose, and when he Q&A's that into oblivion, he will engage
in a substitute for the substitute, and continue to Q&A himself into 20
or 30 levels of substitution until he can't get up at all in the
morning, not even to eat or kill himself.

The clarification and resolution then of the core level problems of
a being is important, and once this area is opened all the remaining
less important problems of the being will open up to come back under his
control.

THREE OPERATING STATES

A being has three operating states.

They are:

1.) Eternality, which is living forever above space and time.

2.) Immortality, which is living forever inside one particular
space and time. No matter how powerful or wonderful he is, a GodSoul in
time is a speck of dirt on the face of a GodSoul out of time.

3.) Mortality, which is living for a while inside one particular
space and time, then to exist no more.

Eternality is called an operating state advisedly, as it actually
is a state of total no operation, total unmanifestation, total sleep.

However it is a willful no operation and unmanifestation.

Being able to operate the state of no operation is just as
important as being able to operate states of some operation.

"Get the idea of no operation."
"Get the idea of some operation."

Run alternately to alternating joy and sorrow.

ETERNALITY

Eternality is the native state of the being, it has no space nor
time, yet powers all of many space and times via postulates.

The purpose of postulates is to design your future in a space time
game stream which is called a while, because it is always finite in
length.

The primary action of eternality is to descend into created states
of immortality or mortality within space time whiles.

A while is a finite stretch of space and time, usually very long,
in which beings can believe they are immortal or mortal as their hearts
desire.

Since all whiles are finite, true immortality is impossible. True
immortality is also undesirable, as it limits what a being can do and
then forces him to do it forever, and thus all immortalities become
detested hells forever after a while.

However all whiles end one day, thus there is no heaven or hell
forever inside space or time. There are however plenty of heavens and
hells for a while, so watch out.

CORRUPTED IMMORTALITIES

There are a couple of corrupted immortalities.

The first is where the being believes he was created by something
else a finite amount of time ago, but then will live forever after that,
particularly if he is good.

He tends to conceive of his creator as a God of Behavior.

He considers his primary purpose in life is to remain in the good
graces of his Creator by being good or obedient or serving the Creator's
purpose.

He hate's this.

The second is where the being believes he is indeed immortal but
can be killed if he is not careful. These are called fragile
immortalities. "I have lived forever, and I will live forever, but only
as long as..."

MORTALITY

One of the deeper possible hells for a while is the state of
mortality.

Mortality is the state of believing that the being was created at
some finite time in the past and will die forever at some finite time in
the future never to be seen again.

Both his creation and destruction are against his will and act as
'rapes' of his sovereign desire to be in control of his existence.

Mortalities are often employed to escape immortal hells which
become intolerable to the being. At least the promise of death as a
mortal is something to look forward to. Of course once they die, they
fall back up to their immortal hell state, and have to choose another
mortal deceit to avoid it all over again.

Much of being reborn in a body over and over again is just this
taking place.

So the cycle of a being is to start off in Eternality, postulate a
universe of space and times, enjoy a long stretch as an immortal in
those space and times, until it turns sour, and then enjoy a long
stretch of different little mortalities, until he can't stand the
hypocricy and deceit any more.

At that time, he begins to seek the truth and eventually becomes
Eternal again.

A being in good operating condition, can keep one foot in
Eternality and the other in space and time. With each in breath he
becomes aware of space and time, and with each out breath he snoozes
back to Eternality.

At the beginning of each breath he can see his choice to manifest,
and directly operate his responsibly for the entire descent from
Eternality to his present landing space as an immortal or as a mortal.

As he let's out each breath, he takes full responsibility for his
ascent back to Eternality.

Thus he maintains conscious awareness of full responsibility for
coming in to and going out of existence with each breath.

Beings who demand proof for paranormal abilities really have no
clue what they are asking for, and this constant traversal from
eternality into manifestation and back again in real time BY CHOICE is
really the only proof they will ever have.

The proof is in the self luminous fair chosen responsibility to
operate the cycle.

However a being in such shape is very unlikely to get into any
trouble in any universe he is in, because awareness of responsibility is
a game destroyer. The arcade game player hates remembering he wrote the
game. The temptation to fiddle with the difficulty controls is just too
great and too easy.

But such a being can not only adjust his own ability to play the
game, to make it easier or harder as his heart desires, he can also get
serious and forget he wrote the game in the first place or chose to
enter it.

Then he is playing for keeps.

At this point both feet are firmly planted in space time, and with
each in breath and out breath he is mostly breathing fumes and cursing
his creator and the day he was created.

From here on out his immortality will quickly decay into a hell
forever and then into a series of deceitful existences called mortality.
He will take on the beingness of something that can die, like a human
body, in the pretense that when the body dies, he will die too and be
done with. "Ahh peace at last" in non existence.

But non existence at the bottom of the tone scale is a low tone
mockery of the 'non existence' of total unmanifestation of Eternality.

The "non existence" offered by death is final and can't be
reversed, he hopes. And as long as he wants it to be unreversible, that
is the way it will be, until he wants it to be reversible again.

The non existence of Eternality is simply sleep, that the being can
wake up from any time he wants and play again.

The unimpingability of being dead is not the same as the
unimpingability of the as yet unborn.

All aberration is ENFORCED basic truth.

The fair chosen state of being nothing at the top of the tone scale
is not the same thing has HAVING to be nothing at the bottom.

At the top of the tone scale in Eternality is peace and laughter.
Adore calls it halcyon, bemused relief on the verge of time. The very
thought of existence is so hysterical and ludicrous, the being usually
laughs himself back to sleep again.

But once in a while the urge to thrill and romance will carry the
newly awakened being across the threshold of time into a while,

"Thrill is always the effort to get lost, romance is always the
effort to get home." - Adore

At entrance into space and time, there will be the joy and thrill
of immortality, but this is soon followed by the fear of hell forever.

By his own hand, the being THINKS time is forever, but time is only
for a while. His assignment of foreverness to time rather than to
timeless eternality is a major error, but this error is fair chosen and
necessary to the game of seriousness that he wishes to play.

The being knows full well what he is doing when he makes these
errors of assignment in a twinkle of the eye.

How can you weep and moan, and convincingly hang on a cross on the
underbelly of
the astral plane, if you just think its all going to end one day anyhow.

Nope, it has to last FOREVER, or else seriousness loses all its
meaning.

And that's IN TIME, love.

Things don't last forever in Eternality, they simply ARE forever in
Eternality.

Apparently the being who can have everything he wants forever for
free, has a taste for the experience of losing it all and never having
it again, forever for free.

A being who is the pinnacle of perfection, beauty and self love,
wants to experience detesting himself and burying himself in the tomb of
space time never to be heard from again.

But only for a while, you see.

Run:

"As a GodSoul, invent something you could never live down."

So at the bottom of the tone scale at mortality, there is nothing
but sorrow.

Mortality violates the sovereign desire of the being to have beauty
and love forever. Since the loss by death is infinite in scope, the
sorrow is infinite in depth. Recovering from this sorrow is hard and
takes a spark of his own eternal humor and divinity to soften it up, so
he can begin the long process of melting into laughter and high
appreciation for ludicrous demise again.

There are no lessons to be learned here, only lessons to be
unlearned.

At the bottom of the well of fear and sorrow is pleasure waves and
laughter.

But nobody dares go there to find out.

Until they do.

The being knew all this when he created his own mortality, so all
beings await the coming of their own Messiah postulate.

THEY SAVE THEMSELVES.

With some help from there friends.

But do not waste time with those that ridicule you or
throw contempt on you with cat calls to Prove it!

They do not want it prooven, as they do not wish yet to be woken
from the nightmare, it's just getting juicy for them.

Mortality thus is fair chosen, the being POSTULATES the rules of
the game and the consequences, in general if not in specific, and he
then is the Imp Soul who appreciates a good nightmare (mortality) as
much as a good night's sleep in AEternum.

CHASE

To a being, who can create or have in the mere conception of
things, the idea of chase might seem ridiculous.

Why are you courting that pretty girl or handsome prince? A
GodSoul can create beautiful lovers forever for free in the mere
conception of them.

But the Eternal being longs for chase, and thus places time and
limitation (game rules) between conception and havingness, thus creating
a game in which to play and win his heart's desire.

Later he then adds seriousness by adding the possibility of failure
to win forever.

In order for seriousness to take hold and be taken seriously, I
mean why create seriousness if you aren't going to take it seriously,
the being has to hide from himself his own hand in the matter of
postulating seriousness and the possibility of permanent loss and
demise, into existence.

Some games are so rough, eventually everyone HAS to lose them all,
no one can win them forever. The game then is only how long one can
keep the game going. You win by being the last one left standing.

Then you die too.

Winning them means dying alone.

Remember he is a being who creates in the mere conception of
things, so the day he conceived that he could lose forever AND that his
conception had nothing causal to do with the truth of it, he was good to
go.

This is called the consideration/observation Flip Flop, and defines
a God Postulate.

A God Postulate is that postulate which the being thinks is true
because he has observed it to be true, when in fact it is true only
because he postulates it is true.

The being has caused himself to become an effect. But as part of
causing himself to be an effect he has postulated that he COULDN'T have
caused himself to be an effect. Thus he believes he really is an
effect, and since he didn't create being an effect, there is nothing he
can do to take it back.

He hopes perhaps to ameliorate some of pain of being an effect by
using what cause he has left to CAUSE SOMETHING MORE, but it will always
be a bandaid on the original effect that he believes he had nothing to
do with.

Postulates can only be undone by doing them again and then taking
them back rather than committing to them as truth observed.

Make it once it sticks, make it again its gone.

In the absence of the ability to postulate it again, he can't take
his postulate back, and so he remains at effect until he does take it
back.

He can't take back, what he isn't able or willing to PUT THERE.

So he needs that divine lightning strike to remind him of his
sovereignty, and his hand and ability in the design of his own future.
Then he can start to make it all again and take anything back.

He doesn't just postulate failure for a while, like you lose one
chess game, so you play another, he postulates failure forever. If he
fails to make a living and eat, he dies and that's it bud.

Once the existence of games depends on the winning of any
particular game, then seriousness obtains.

The being in the mortal state can not conceive that he created his
own mortality, nor that anyone or anything should ever have, could ever
have, or would ever have done so.

The intention to do so exceeds him.

Therefore he is stuck in a self made prison of irresponsibility for
irresponsibility.

Thus he hates himself, and hates his God and its Heavens, and seeks
his final tomb like an old man seeking a long lost love.

Better to be dead forever than go to heaven forever.

For underneath that heaven forever in time is a hell forever just
waiting to nail him.

High appreciation for ludicrous demise is born of majesty, which is
the sovereign desire that desire not be sovereign for a while.

Majesty is Master of Jest.

J.E.S.T stands for Jokes of Eternal Self Treason.
J.E.S.T stands for Justice of Eternal Self Truth.

The being in present time does not know what he wants.

He wants to be Eternal.

But as an Eternal he wanted to be an Immortal.

But as an Immortal he wanted to be Mortal.

Now as a Mortal he wants to be Eternal again.

That forms a problem to him.

Further the being is scared witless of the sorrows he has
suppressed over his immortality and mortality.

One can cry an ocean of tears, but how can one cry forever?

At some point a spark of divinity must be experienced in order to
help convert the sorrow to laughter.

One may not be able to cry forever, but one can laugh forever right
out of time across the verge and back into Eternality.

Laughter is the stairs that leads home.

But if one can not cry, one can not laugh or love, for sorrow is
love is sorrow is love.

Remember the guy with one foot in eternality and the other in hell?

Well with every in breath, the love of eternality turns to the
sorrow of death. And with every out breath, the sorrow of death turns
to the laughter of eternality.

Now THAT'S a person who can feel and make the sun shine.

But he is in command of the AllThatIS and his relation to it.

He is master of his own game and he knows it.

Are you ready for that?

Are you ready to be free, to be what is, and what it dares?

Run,

Spot NO daring.
Spot SOME daring.

E/P: able to dare.

WHAT TO AUDIT

The primary purpose of auditing this material is orientation,
knowing which way one is heading, and which ways there are to head.

Those three headings are eternality, immortality and mortality.

Each has its attractions, and each has its downsides.

There is no real downside to eternality, except the impulse to
manifest is as strong as the tide coming in. But nonetheless,
eternality is being home, anything else is being lost.

The thrill to being lost is assuaged by the hope of romance while
getting back home. Therein lies the friendships and sharing of self
love with each other that you meet along the way.

But once the being makes the (fair chosen) error of assigning
foreverness to a while in time, and worse begins to WISH OFF forevers in
time on others, he also begins to take them on himself, and these then
lead to his hells forever.

For a being who can create in the mere conception of things, any
hell forever you wish off on another, immediately becomes your own, as
you conceived it and thus you got it.

Particularly if the other guy doesn't want it or you regret trying
to hand it to him. :)

Further the very idea that ANYTHING could last forever in time is
an unconfrontable horror that violates the most fundamental of sovereign
desires, to be limited only for a while.

Thus the instant a being gets involved in forevers in time, whether
good or bad, he has sealed his fate.

One day he says to a girl, "I will love you forever", the next day
he is saying "I will hate you forever".

His hatred is HIS hell, not the person he hates.

Eventually his hate turns to regret, as it violates his own sense
of sovereign perfection, and he turns to hating himself.

He hates another, but he knows that hate is wrong and so regrets
it, and so he figures he will do the right thing by everyone and punish
himself for wronging another by doing the same wrong thing to himself.

Fair is fair, right?

Smart is smart, right?

In the world of Sabe (time), fair is not always sane however.

Dura is an ExTemporal (eternal) world of permanence, of having what
you want, forever for free, as Adore likes to put it. Where there is no
time, there is no coming or going, thus no possibility of loss.

Sabe is a temporal world of sorrow and permanent loss. Whatever
comes must go, the sorrow of the Last Goodbye gets its power from the
surprise and sorrow of the First Hello.

The transition from Dura to Sabe is fair chosen, for what purposes
only the GodSoul knows. That's you bozo.

Sabe is pronounced SA-BAY and bears some coincidental similarity to
the word to sob, to cry.

Dura bears coincidental similarity to the English word durable, but
neither Dura or Sabe are of Earth origin.

High Halcyon is high appreciation for LUDICROUS demise.

"The punishment for the high crime of guilt is divine
magnificence." - From Adore

But you have to be godawful high to see this.

That is why God loves you no matter what kind of M.E.S.S. you have
created for yourself.

M.E.S.S. means Magnificent Examples of Shames and Shambles.

It helps that you ARE that God incarnation, and thus forgiveness
comes from yourself to yourself and others.

Thus if you need to be forgiven, you need to forgive. It really is
just that simple.

Who can't you forgive? They are the key to your cage.

No hell can outlast a true confession and repentance. It just is
not mechanically possible. The instant you stop making hells trying to
cast them off on others, you don't HAVE any more hells to get stuck in,
as a being can only get stuck in a hell HE created to cast on another
and then himself.

The hells others are trying to cast onto you in their own insanity,
are but pretty baubles to a clean GodSoul.

There is a beauty to all this, and your preclear will have to see
that beauty to come to grips with the worthwhileness of his demise.

His fall was artful and is art.

Then he can take responsibility for it and take it all back and
return to native state of unmanifestation, ready to do it again if and
when he is so moved to cross the threshold of time and laughter again
into thrill and romance.

The urge towards unmanifestation is as strong as the tides going
out.

HOW TO AUDIT

Everything your preclear is suffering from is a surface fumarole
powered by a problem with either eternality, immortality or mortality.

A fumarole is a steam vent leaking charge and pressure from an
undergound vault of explosive emotional energy born of indecision and
Q&A.

He couldn't decide whether to go left or right, so he built a house
at the fork, and closed off the roads.

Then he forgot he did this, "I was born here, I wasn't going
anyplace, there were no roads that I remember".

The hell there weren't.

Out back, where the fork and the roads used to be, is now a
graveyard.

Your preclear will come up with all kinds of reasons why he
shouldn't go near this material. He will tell you, it's too late, even
if he were to get better now, he is too old, he couldn't possibly get
back on that journey again.

And if your preclear hasn't come up to overwhelming feelings of the
outrageousness, absurdity, ridiculousness, preposterousness,
ludicrosity, incredibility, forbiddenness, and impossibility of getting
better, then he just isn't making any case gain.

These are called Guardian Dicoms for a reason, they protect the
secret of eternality so no one will discover it. It's just too good to
be true, after all he's been through, there is NO WAY anything could be
as good as Eternality and freedom to have what he wants.

DICOM means DIchotomy of Comparable and Opposite Magnitude.

Credible - Incredible, Possible - Impossible, etc.

These items are so powerful that the only way to audit them is to
be with them until they subside on their own.

NO FURTHER TRUTH WILL EVER SATISFY YOU WITH A TRUTH THAT YOU ARE
DISSATISFIED WITH NOW.

Thus looking for something that will help make it all seem more
credible or less preposterous will not work, the items must be run as
themselves, and confronted as themselves, until they vanish as
themselves.

Looking for a solution to the above guardian dicoms is non confront
and Q&A, pure and simple.

Nothing other than the item itself will assuage itself. The items
are self vanishing when they turn on, but they run out SLOWLY, might
take an hour of just sitting with one of them, until its gone. Then the
next one will appear, and do the same. Eventually your preclear will
run into the first one again at a higher plane of existence.

Running these items with pure confront is kind of like sitting next
to a brick wall until it crumbles from your mere presence.

But crumble they do, it might take some faith to wait the duration,
but its not forever, and the first time it works for you, you will
understand, and that faith will never be shaken again.

And never again will you again Q&A with a Guardian dicom, looking
for an answer to it.

Finally your preclear will come to the qualms, the utter and total
danger of it all.

His computation is that the safest thing he can be is a mortal worm
on a stump. God knows what he might create should he ever go Eternal
again. See, being mortal is the opposite of being able to create in the
mere conception of things. A mortal was CREATED, see? That's as low as
you can go as a GodSoul, incipient carrion at something else's behest.

He is trying to protect himself from ever creating anything ever
again, at least by mere conception. Gotta have a committee go over the
design of the thing, pass laws, raise money, woo politicians, anything
to make sure he doesn't just create something he can't get rid of again.

Being able to create in the mere conception of things is the most
dangerous thing in the world, and he has spent the last untold eons
seeking a safe solution to it.

At first being able to create made HIM dangerous, anyone who could
create anything in the mere conception of it would certainly be a force
to be reckoned with.

But then regret of creation made his ability to create, a danger TO
HIM.

This is part of the hell cycle, all creations are creations of
limitation. Whether cast on others or one's self, if they are made to
be FOREVER, they eventually come to stink, but they are forever you see,
so he can't get rid of them. At least until he takes back the forever
part. If you wish a forever off on another, you get stuck with it
yourself.

You can do anything to anyone without consequence, but violate the
finite length of a while in your wish or creation, and bam you are
doomed. It is your own sovereign desire screaming that becomes your own
hell forever. It is the forever that makes it scream, even if it is a
forever created for another.

This is the genesis of conscience.

What is wrong is FOREVER in time.

That is part of what he created, you see? At first he was cause
and then he was effect because that is what he caused himself to be.

But once he becomes afraid of his own GodSoul abilities, he is on a
dwindling spiral from there on out seeking the Holy Grail of a safe
solution.

In the end there is no greater danger than a safe solution.

So where is he safer? As a GodSoul who can create anything in the
mere conception of it, or as a worm at the bottom of the ocean who can't
create anything and lives to be eaten over and over and over again?

Have him spot danger and safety until both are under his command.

Then take each and every problem, upset, anxiety, indecision,
certainty and uncertainty, doubt, and choice in his life, that he knows
about, and assess for whether it is a fumarole on eternality,
immortality or mortality.

Once the core of the fumarole is properly spotted, dig for the
underlying problem with one of the three.

He will eventually find out why he is mortal via auditing his
immortal problems, and he will find out why he is immortal by auditing
his problems with eternality, and he will find out why he wants to be
eternal again by auditing his mortal problems.

E/P (End Phenomenon of the auditing program) is facility with life.

Life = Operating the AllThatIS.

I guess the real issue here is inaccessibility.

Some pc's are accessible and 'move on the time track' easily, they
can answer questions, get the items right, reviv stuff in full force and
generally run themselves.

Other pc's are like solid rock, "i dont know, i dont know, i dont
know, i dont know" ad nauseum.

I once knew a pc whose auditor told him to go away and come back when
he had some answers.

You can't ask them when they first decided to 'i dont know' because
they answer "I don't know."

They can't see, hear, feel, remember, know, anything, period.

Their whatsit/itsa line is gone and generally can not be put in.

When it does go in, the pc feels like he is going to die.

Or go insane or *SPLAT* all over native state etc.

Except maybe by drugs like pot/acid/speed etc that open up the block
for a while, but generally run irrelevant things that don't improve his
*STRAIGHT* case.

Or he can run things in his dreams, lots of emotion, revivs, other
beings, masses, flows etc coming apart in all directions, and he gets near
clear in his dreams, dial wide smile on his face at the end of it, but his
waking case is still there twice as bad, hasn't moved an inch.

Hubbard talked about the super charged case, he analytically may know
all about Scn/Dn, and even agree whole heartedly with it, but bringing his
Ta down from 7 is just plain "impossible." If you do manage to get it down
to a slight float at 4, its back up at 7 in ten minutes and remains there
until the next session.

After a while the guy goes into hopelessness about auditing and just
sort of endures it watching his assets melt away because he knows he is
going to die anyhow so what matter does it make if he dies poor?

You can't run ruds on this guy, because he 'floats' at 4.0, and he
knows damn well that ain't a float like he wants, and you run PTP's, ARC
breaks and W/Hs until they 'float' and he just gets more and more fed up
with, arc broken, problem with auditing, withholding how stupid all this
is, because he KNOWS he isn't getting better.

He may be getting 'bigger' as a being, but his case is getting bigger
faster, the forces, pains, overwhelms are 'going up the bridge with him',
or worse faster than he is!

LRH's description of the glum guy after ser fac handling is perfect,
auditing itself becomes a glum area, "all those stupid auditors asking me
all those stupid questions"

The super charged case is compartmented off, in a super charged
valence, probably a synthetic one, made of a ball of rock hard glass. He
has some sanity while in the glass, and even a lot of intelligence and
desire to help, but he can't view any part of why he is in the glass.

And its a loss to him every time someone gets better around him, even
if he helped them do it, because he knows one day, if he doesn't catch up
with them, they will leave him behind. That just makes him want to cry.

You can't even catch him during moments of dramatizing because he is
dramatizing not dramatizing, so he is a clear in a sense, a clear ball of
glass, that can't be moved.

Super enforced native state. Probably do better to have him try to
act crazy and go unclear!

But trying to bring this pc up to anger is like trying to enrage a
bowling ball. Good luck.

>This is just me speaking, but I say, "Valence? Schmaylence!" That is,
>valences really come down to a problem in identification and fixation. Yes,
>it's an aspect of case that needs address, but... the thetan is in there
>somewhere and might as well be addressed directly - without undue validation
>of what valences he/she might be donning at the time.

Well the case I am talking about is easy to find his 'I', he usually
is quite self aware, but has little cognizance of what his real self is
like and he knows it, and is terrified of finding out.

He is terrified of himself, the one that got him into this mess. He
figures if he went free, he would just do himself in again cuz' it would
take that kind of asshole to do himself in the way he is now!

He can't find ANY responsibility for his condition and when things
start to open up for him, he just gets hit down the tone scale by
incredibilities, infinities, philosophical veritigo of unimaginable depth,
and personal overwhelm. If you ask them what the consequences of 'getting
better" would be, he will tell you it would be disasterous, better to not
know than to know how he got into this condition.

This is in part because any effort he makes to mock up how he got
INTO the condition is actually wrong and leads to an infinite ARC break.

He is so far off the real answer that the possibility of humor just
doesn't seem likely.

Thus he is doomed no matter whether he gets better of not.

He sees he is in jail, a miserable jail, but the world outside the
jail must be worse because it led him into getting put in jail!

So what came before jail has to be hell itself.

"Anything that leads to bad, must be worse."

Put that in your R3SC and smoke it.

>Now, maybe this is an OT drill, maybe it isn't, it's a fifties' approach,
>but as far as handling the fixation aspect, I'd just say, "Be a valence."
>Be another valence. Be a body. Be another body." so on and so forth.

This is all very cute, but indicates that the severity of this
particular pc's condition escapes you, which is fine, means you never been
there your self, for which you should thank your lucky stars :)

THE SICKNESS OF MEATBALLS

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

THE SICKNESS OF MEATBALLS

Konchie and Phil, when cornered, seem to be able to conceed
points, however Roland and the meatballs don't, at least I have never
seen it.

It is not true that I am ALL wrong, so when someone NEVER
conceeds any point with me no matter what, then I know something is
wrong.

However Konchie, Roland and the meatballs (not Phil) all seem to
suffer from a common problem, they are below 'apparencies are reality'
and very much stuck in the implied actuality of the apparent external
universe.

Although one can sympathize with them, having been there myself,
I can at least see and think with the alternate view, the world is a
dream and you are projecting it from inner Source into your outward
consciousness-of.

What surprises me is that even though Roland has directly and
personally experienced many OT phenomenon, he continues to argue as if
he is a complete nitwit on the matter. Surely he knows the answers to
his own challenges and needs not waste our time making us write the
obvious and proper responses to them, then to only fail to acknowledge
us that we are right in our response.

Their tone is continuous ridicule and contempt, no matter what is
said. We will never gain their respect unless we conceed that because "WE
can not move the marble, and no one has ever moved it for them, that
therefore no one can move the marble because marbles can't be moved."

Thus one can only conclude that either he is trolling
suppressively, perhaps trying to anger us for the sheer joy of it, or
he is truly mentally handicapped, incapable of seeing the stupidity of
the position that he puts forth.

One imagines him putting up the meatball theory in his own mind
with total force in order to shut out any other world view in order to
solve the unsolvable problem of a detestable eternity.

The continuous catcalls of ridicule and contempt give them away
for what they are, service fac cases riding forever on the fixed idea
that there is no forever.

I mean if a serious group of pre OT's were to call a scientific
congress to study OT powers and their absence, Roland in all
likelihood would not be invited as he does not act like a serious
researcher in the field. Maybe he would be invited for his money, but
he would be tolerated with embarassment as the unfortunate Spiritual
Tourets Syndrome case rather than embraced for the wisdom of his
sputterings.

He acts like he is overwhelemed by his experience into a single
broken record make wrong of anyone who continues in this path he was
already on.

Perhaps he thinks he is doing the right thing, but just as Alan
and Hacker and a few others think I am destroying the clearing field,
I would find his behavior at a scientific congress to be highly
destructive and inappropriate.

One certainly wouldn't publish his writings or counter arguments
in a journal, as they are simply too embarassing.

Acting like a cackling jackal is not the way to get serious
research done.

As for Konchie, just as Phil warns against the tech of Hubbard
due to his own personal failings, one is tempted to be wary of UCP due
to the personal failings of its speaker. One imagines that UCP has
its place in the scheme of things, but the guy pushing it is a nut
case of little import whose chances of going real OT in this life time
are vanishingly small.

As Adore says, attitude is everything.

"The exact attitude that one approaches asking a question,
determines whether or not one gets an answer.

The correct attitude is Omni Sovereignty."

Adore also says,

"There is peace in the thought that one day all men will attain
the awakened state.

All endings are happy endings.

You could not, would not have chosen it any other way.

It is payment for the long strange trip it's been.

Responsibility is a big thing, certainly bigger than our parents
told us.

Responsibility for Response Ability.

Do not doubt you chose it and then look to see for evidence.

You chose. What proof did you leave behind you now?

There is only one Proof.

Learn it, love it, teach it, master it,

All can.

However for some, it may be a long time between now and then.

You can't move your house around town, if you have locked
yourself inside it.

In Excelsis Deo." - Adore

Cleve Backster consciousness and plants

The Plants Respond: An Interview with Cleve Backster
published in "The Sun"
July 1997
published in "Free Spirit"

October 1998
translated into Czech and published in "Baraka"

Sometimes it happens that a person can name the exact moment when his or
her life changed irrevocably. For Cleve Backster, it was early morning on
February 2, 1966, at thirteen minutes, fifty-five seconds of chart time
for a polygraph he was administering. One of the world's experts on
polygraphs, and the creator of the Backster Zone Comparison Test, the
standard used by lie detection examiners worldwide, Backster had
threatened the subject's well-being in hopes of triggering a response. The
subject had responded electrochemically to this threat. The subject was a
plant.

Since that time Cleve Backster has conducted hundreds of experiments
showing that plants respond to our emotions and intents, as do severed or
crushed leaves, eggs (fertilized or not), yogurt, scrapings from the roof
of a person's mouth, sperm, and so on. He's found that if he placed oral
leukocytes, or white blood cells removed from a person's mouth, into a
test tube, the cells still responded electrochemically to the donor's
emotional states, even when the person is out of the room, out of the
building, or out of the state.

I've wanted to speak to Cleve Backster since I first read about his work
when I was a kid. He sparked my imagination, and it is not too much to say
that his observations on February 2, 1966 changed not only his life but my
own. He verified an understanding I had as a child, an understanding not
even a degree in physics could later eradicate--that the world is alive
and sentient.

Nonetheless, when I went to talk to him, I did not allow my enthusiasm to
overwhelm my skepticism. I was excited yet dubious as he placed yogurt
into a sterilized test tube. He clamped the tube in place, inserted two
sterilized gold electrodes, and turned on the recording chart. We began to
talk. The pen wriggled up and down, and seemed to lurch just as I took in
my breath to disagree with something he said. But I couldn't be sure. When
we see something, how do we know if it is real, or if we see it only
because we wish so much to believe?

Cleve left to take care of business elsewhere in the building. I tried to
fabricate anger, thinking of clearcuts and the politicians who legislate
them, thinking about abused children and their abusers. The line
manifesting the electrochemical response of the yogurt remained perfectly
flat. Either fabricated emotions don't count, or it's a sham, or something
else was terribly wrong. Perhaps the yogurt was not interested in me.
Losing interest myself, I began to wander around the lab. My eyes fell on
a calender, and on closer inspection I saw it was actually an
advertisement for UPS. I felt a sudden surge of anger at the ubiquity of
advertisements, and then realized--My god, what was that? A spontaneous
emotion! I dashed to the chart, and saw a sudden spike corresponding to
the moment I'd seen the calender. Then more flat line. And more flat line.
And more. Again I began to wander through the lab, and again I saw
something that triggered an emotion. This was a poster showing a map of
the human genome. I thought of the Human Genome Diversity Project, a
monumental study hated by many traditional indigenous peoples and their
allies for its genocidal implications. Another surge of anger, another
dash to the chart, and another spike in the graph, from instants before I
started to move. Such are the moments of revolutionary insight.

I spoke with Cleve Backster thirty-one years and twenty-two days after his
original observation, a full continent away, in San Diego, from the office
on Times Square in New York City where he had once worked and lived.

#

DJ: I'm sure you've told this story a million times, but can you say again
how you first noticed the reaction in a plant?

CB: The initial observation that happened on February 2nd, 1966, involved
a dracena cane plant I had back in the lab in Manhattan. I wasn't
particularly into plant culture, it's just that there was a
going-out-of-business sale at a plant store on the ground floor of the
building I was in, and the secretary bought a couple of inexpensive plants
for the office. One was a rubber plant, and the other was this dracena
cane. I had done a saturation watering of these plants-- putting them
under the faucet and watering them until water ran through completely--and
I was curious as to how long it would take the moisture to get to the top.
I was especially interested in the dracena because the water had to climb
a long trunk, and then to the end of these long leaves. I thought if I put
something that measures resistance at the end of a leaf--the galvanic skin
response section of the polygraph, and I had those sitting all over the
place because we were running a school--a drop in resistance should be
recorded on the paper as the contaminating moisture arrived between the
electrodes.

That, at least, is the cover story. I'm not sure if there was another,
more profound, reason. It could be that somebody at another level of
consciousness was nudging me into doing this. I don't know. But curiosity
about watering seems to have worked out as a reasonable explanation of why
I did it.

Next, I noticed something on the chart that resembled a human response on
a polygraph. In other words, the contour of the pen tracing was not what I
would expect from water entering a leaf, but instead what I would expect
from a person taking a lie-detector test. Lie detectors work on the
principle that when people perceive a threat to their well- being, they
physiologically respond in predictable ways. If you were conducting a
polygraph as part of a murder investigation, you might ask a suspect, "Was
it you who fired the shot that was fatal to so and so?" If the true answer
is yes, the suspect will fear getting caught lying, and electrodes on
their skin will pick up the response to that fear. So I began to think
about how I could threaten the well-being of the plant. First I tried
putting a neighboring leaf in a cup of warm coffee. The plant, if
anything, showed what I now recognize as boredom--it just kept trending
downward.

Then at thirteen minutes, fifty-five seconds chart time, the imagery
entered my mind of burning the leaf I was testing. I didn't verbalize, I
didn't touch the plant, I didn't touch the equipment. The only new thing
that could have been a stimulus for the plant was the mental image. Yet
the plant went wild. The pen jumped right off the top of the chart.

I went into the next office to get matches from my secretary's desk, and
lighting one, made a few feeble passes at a neighboring leaf. I realized,
though, that I was already seeing such a saturation of reaction that more
change wouldn't be noticeable anyway. So I tried a different approach: I
removed the threat by taking the matches back to the secretary's desk. The
plant calmed right back down.

Immediately I understood something important was going on. There were no
alternate explanations. There was no one else in the building, nobody else
in the lab suite, and I simply wasn't doing anything that would provide a
mechanistic explanation. From that split-second my consciousness hasn't
been the same. My whole thought process, my whole priority system, has
been devoted to looking into this.

After that first observation, I talked to scientists from different
fields, trying to get them to explain to me within their disciplines what
was happening. It was totally foreign to them. So I started to design an
experiment in greater depth to explore what I soon began to call primary
perception.

DJ: Primary perception?

CB: I couldn't call what I was witnessing extrasensory perception, because
plants don't have most of the first five senses to start with. This
perception on the part of the plant seemed to take place at a much more
basic, or primary, level. Thus the name.

Anyway, what emerged was an experiment in which I arranged for shrimp to
be dropped automatically at random intervals into simmering water, while
recording the reaction of plants at the other end of the lab.

DJ: How did you tell whether the plants were responding to the death of
the shrimp, or to your emotions?

CB: It is very very hard to eliminate the interconnection between the
experimenter and the plants being tested. Even the briefest association
with the plants--just a few hours--is enough to let them become attuned to
you. Then, even though you automate the experiment and leave the
laboratory, and even though you set a time delay switch for random
intervals, guaranteeing you are entirely unaware of when the experiment
starts, the plants will remain attuned to you, no matter where you go. At
first, my partner and I used to go to a bar a block away, and after a time
we began to grow suspicious that the plants were not responding to the
death of the brine shrimp at all, but instead to the rising and falling
levels of excitement in our conversations. Finally, we came up with a way
around this. We had someone else buy the plants, and store them in another
part of the building we didn't frequent. On the day of the experiment we
went to the holding area, brought the plants in, hooked them up, and left.
This meant the plants were in a strange environment, they had the pressure
of the electrodes, they had a little trickle of electricity going through
their leaves, and they'd been deserted. Because they were not attuned to
us or to anyone else, they began "looking around" for anything that would
acquaint them with their environment. Then, and only then, did something
so subtle as the deaths of the brine shrimp get picked up by the plants.

DJ: Do plants become attuned over time only to humans, or do they become
attuned to others in their environment as well?

CB: I'll answer that with an example. Often I hook up a plant and just go
about my business, then observe what makes it respond. One day back in New
York City I was making coffee. The coffee maker we had in the lab was a
dripolater, where you put a teakettle on, boil the water, pour it in, and
it drips down. We normally didn't empty the teakettle, but just topped it
off later. This particular day, however, I needed the teakettle for
something else, and so poured the scalding water down the sink. The plant
being monitored showed huge reactions. It turns out that if you don't put
chemicals or very hot water down the sink for a long time, a little jungle
begins to grow down there. Under a microscope it's almost as scary as the
bar scene in Star Wars. Well, the plant was responding to the death of the
microbes.

I've been amazed at the perception capability right down to the bacterial
level. One sample of yogurt, for example, will pick up when another is
being fed. Sort of like, "That one's getting food. Where's mine?" That
happens with a fair degree of repeatability. Or if you take two samples of
yogurt, hook one up to electrodes, and drop antibiotics in the other, the
electroded yogurt shows a huge response at the other's death. And they
needn't even be the same kind of bacteria. The first siamese cat I ever
had would only eat chicken. My partner's wife would cook a bird and send
it to the lab. I'd put the carcass in the refrigerator and pull off a
piece each day to feed the cat. By the time I'd get to the end, the
carcass would be pretty old, and the bacteria would have started to build
up. One day I had some yogurt hooked up, and as I got the chicken out of
the refrigerator to begin pulling off strips of meat, the yogurt
responded. Next, I put the chicken under a heat lamp to bring it to room
temperature . . .

DJ: You obviously pamper your cat. . .

CB: I wouldn't want the cat to have to eat cold chicken! Anyway, heat
hitting the bacteria created huge reactions in the yogurt.

DJ: How do you know you weren't influencing this?

CB: At the time, I was going through a phase where I used pip switches
constantly. I had them set up all over the lab. Whenever I performed an
action, I hit a switch, which placed a mark on the remotely-located chart.
That way I could later compare the reaction of the yogurt, which I was
unaware of at the time, to whatever was happening in the lab. Once again,
when I turned the chicken over, I got these huge reactions from the
yogurt.

DJ: And another when the cat starts to ingest the chicken?

CB: Interestingly enough, bacteria appear to have a defense mechanism such
that impending danger causes them to go into a state very similar to
shock. In effect, they pass out. Many plants will do this as well. If you
hassle them enough they'll go insensitive, almost like a flat line. The
bacteria apparently did this, because as soon as the unfriendly bacteria
hit the cat's digestive system, the signal went out. There was a flat line
from then on.

DJ: Dr. Livingston, of "Dr. Livingston, I presume" fame was mauled by a
lion. He later said that during the attack, he didn't feel pain, but was
instead blissed out. He said it would have been no problem to give himself
up to the lion.

CB: I was on an airplane once, and had with me a little battery- powered
galvanic response meter that I could hook to electrodes. I had the aisle
seat, and I can still remember the poor guy strapped in next to the
window. Just as the attendants started serving lunch, I pulled out this
meter and said to him, "You want to see something interesting?" I put a
piece of lettuce between the electrodes, and when people started to eat
their salads we got some reactivity, which stopped as the leaves went into
shock. Then I said, "Wait until they pick up the trays, and see what
happens." When attendants removed our meals, the lettuce got back its
reactivity. The point is that the lettuce was going into a protective
state so it would not suffer. When the danger left the reactivity came
back. This ceasing of electrical energy at the cellular level ties in, I
believe, to the state of shock that people, too, enter in extreme trauma.

DJ: Plants, bacteria, lettuce leaves . . .

CB: Eggs. I had a Doberman Pinscher for a while back in New York, and I
used to feed him an egg a day. One day I had a plant hooked up to a large
meter ordinarily used to display galvanic skin response. This means that
instead of churning out miles of chart paper, which can get pretty
expensive, I could see on the meter any large change in reactivity. This
particular time I was feeding the dog, and as I cracked the egg, the meter
went crazy. I thought, what's the connection between cracking an egg and
the plant in the other room getting all whippy. That started hundreds of
hours of monitoring eggs. Fertilized or unfertilized, it doesn't matter;
it's still a living cell, and plants perceive when that continuity is
broken. Eggs, too, have the same defense mechanism. If you threaten them,
their tracing will go flat on you. Then, if you wait about twenty minutes,
they come back.

After working with plants, bacteria, and eggs, I started to wonder how
animals would react. Of course you can't hold your cat or dog still long
enough to do meaningfull monitoring. So I used scrapings from the roof of
a person's mouth. But I was only able to get short-term readings, nothing
long enough to draw conclusions. I thought then that I'd try sperm, which
would be the ideal single human cell, capable of staying alive outside the
body, and certainly easy enough to obtain. In this observation the sample
from the donor was put it in a test tube with electrodes, and the donor
was separated from the sperm by several rooms. Then the donor inhaled amyl
nitrate--you know, poppers, that young people talk about--which when used
conventionally is supposed to dilate vessels and stop people from having
strokes. Just crushing the amyl nitrate caused a big reaction in the
sperm, and when the donor inhaled, the sperm went wild.

So here I am, seeing single-cell organisms on a human level--sperm-- that
are responding to the donor's sensations, even when they are no longer in
the same room as the donor. There was no way, though, that I could
continue that research. It would have been scientifically proper, but
politically stupid. The dedicated skeptics would undoubtedly have
ridiculed me, asking where my masturbatorium is, and so on.

Then at a meeting in Houston I met a dental researcher from the Texas
University School of Dentistry who had perfected a method of gathering
white cells from donors' mouths. This was great. It was politically
feasible, easy to do, and required no medical supervision, as would have
been necessary with white cell extraction directly from blood.

Once that hurdle was out of the way, I started doing split-screen
videotaping of experiments, with the chart readout superimposed at the
bottom of a screen showing the donor's activities. We found that a person
could be ten blocks away, or even twenty miles away, and we still got
reactions.

DJ: How did you monitor over distance?

CB: We took the white cell samples, then sent the people home to watch
television. I would have preselected a program that would elicit an
emotional response from them--for example, showing a veteran of Pearl
Harbor a documentary of West Pacific enemy aircraft attacks--and then I
taped both the program and the response of their cells. What we found was
that cells outside the body still react to the emotions you feel, even
though you may be miles away.

The greatest distance we've tested has been about three hundred miles.
Brian O'Leary, who wrote Exploring Inner and Outer Space, left his white
cells here in San Diego, then flew home to Pheonix. On the way he kept
careful track of different things that aggravated him, carefully logging
the time of each. The correlation remained over distance.

DJ: The implications of all this . . .

CB: Yes, are staggering. We get two different kinds of bacteria very much
in synch with each other. We get plants responding to our intent. We get
plants responding to the death of other creatures. All my work, which
consists of file drawers full of this kind of very high quality anecdotal
data, has shown time and again that these creatures-- bacteria, plants,
and so on--are all fantastically tuned in to each other.

Now, as you get to humans, this capability gets lost. In one observation
after my lecture at Yale University, graduate students monitored a plant
and simultaneously hassled a spider--put their hands around it and stopped
it from running away. When they moved their hands away, they saw a
reaction in the leaf being monitored, the instant before it ran,
apparently right as it was making the decision. That's a type of high
quality observation I have seen repeatedly. And human cells, too, have
this primary perception capability, but somehow it gets lost, somehow with
humans it doesn't surface at the conscious level. It makes you wonder if
we have lost that capability, or if we ever had such a talent.

I've come to the conclusion that when a person has evolved spiritually
enough to handle these other perceptions, she or he will become properly
tuned in. Until then it may be best not to be tuned in, because of the
damage we cause by mishandling the information received.

Sometimes we have a tendency to see ourselves as the most highly evolved
lifeform on the planet. We're very successful at intellectual endeavors.
But these may not be the ultimate scales by which to judge. It could be
that there are others who are more advanced spiritually. It also could be
that we are approaching a place where we may be able to safely enhance our
perception. I think more and more people are openly working in these
so-far-marginalized areas of research.

For instance, have you heard of Rupert Sheldrake's work with dogs? He puts
a time-oriented camera on both the dog at home and the associated human at
work. He has discovered that even for people who come home from work at a
different time each day, at the moment the person leaves work the dog at
home heads for the door.

DJ: How has the scientific community received your work?

CB: With the exception of scientists at the margins, like Rupert
Sheldrake, it was met first with derision, then hostility, and mostly now
with silence.

At first they called primary perception The Backster Effect, perhaps
hoping they could ridicule the observations away by naming them after this
wild man who claims to see things that have been missed by mainstream
science. The name stuck, and because primary perception can't be readily
dismissed, it is no longer a term of contempt.

At the same time the scientists were ridiculing my work, the popular press
was paying very close attention to me, with dozens of articles and
portions of books, such as The Secret Life of Plants. I never asked for
any of the articles to be done, and I have never profited from this work.
People have always come to me, requesting additional information.

Anyway, the botanical community was getting pretty upset. They wanted to
get to the bottom of all this "plant nonsense," so at the 1975 American
Association for the Advancement of Science meeting in New York City, they
planned to resolve the issue. Arthur Galston, of Yale University, a
well-known botanist, got together a select group of scientists to, in my
opinion, try to neutralize the work. This is a typical response by the
scientific community, to "compare notes" regarding controversial theories.
The year before in Chicago they focussed on Immanual Velikovsky, who wrote
Worlds in Collision. I had already learned that you don't go into these
things to win; you go in to survive. And I was able to do that.

They've now gotten to the point where they can't counter the research I'm
doing, and so their strategy has been to just ignore me, hoping I'll go
away. Of course that's not working either.

DJ: What is their main criticism?

CB: The big problem, and this is a big problem as far as consciousness
research in general is concerned, is repeatability. The events I've seen
must be spontaneous. If you've thought them out in advance, you've already
changed them. It all boils down to a very simple thing: repeatability and
spontaneity do not go together, and as long as members of the scientific
community overemphasize that aspect of scientific methodology, they're not
going to get very far in consciousness research. I am sure of that. That
is precisely what has held it back for years.

As related to my initial observation in 1966, not only is spontaneity
important, but so is intent. You can't pretend; it just won't happen. If
you say you are going to burn a leaf on the plant, and don't mean it,
nothing will happen. So you can't pretend regarding a threat to the
plant's "well-being," nor can you plan when working for repeatability.

Young people know that spontaneity and repeatability don't go together. I
hear constantly from people in different parts of the country, wanting to
know what to do to cause plant reactions. I tell them, "Don't do anything.
Go about your work, keep notes so later you can tell what you were doing
at specific times, and then transfer that to your chart recording of
tracing changes. But don't plan anything, or the experiment won't work."
The individuals who do this often discover their own equivalent to my
initial observation, and they often get first prize in science fairs, etc.
But then they get to Science 101, where they're told that what they have
already experienced is not important.

There have been a few attempts by scientists to replicate my work with the
brine shrimp, but these have all been methodologically inadequate. When
they learned that they had to automate the experiment, they merely went to
the other side of a wall, then used closed-circuit television to watch
what's going on. Clearly, they weren't removing their consciousness from
the experiment. It is so very easy to fail at that experiment, and let's
be honest, some of the scientists who attempted to reproduce it were
relieved when they failed, because to have succeeded would have been to go
against the body of scientific knowledge.

Finally I just gave up trying to fight scientists on this, because I know
that even if the experiment fails, the people attempting it will still see
things that will change their consciousness. That means they will never be
the same.

I get people coming up now that would not have said anything twenty years
ago. They often say, "I think I can safely tell you now how you really
changed my life with what you were doing back in the early 70s." These are
scientists who didn't feel they had the luxury back then to rock the boat,
for fear that their credibility, and thus grant requests, would have been
affected.

DJ: The emphasis on repeatability seems anti-life, since life itself is
not repeatable. And that emphasis is incredibly important because, as
Francis Bacon made clear, repeatability is inextricably tied to control.
And control is fundamentally what western science is about. Or forget
western science. Control is what western culture is really all about. For
scientists to give up predictability means they must give up control,
which means they must give up western culture, which means it's not going
to happen until civilization collapses under the weight of its own
ecological excesses.

Okay. We are faced with several options. We can believe you are lying, and
so is everyone else who has ever experienced this. We can believe that
what you are saying is true, and that the whole notion of
repeatability--and in essence then the whole direction of the scientific
method--needs to be reworked, as well as the whole notions of what are
consciousness, communication, perception, and so on. Or we can believe
that you are mistaken. Is there a possibility that you've overlooked some
strictly Cartesian, Baconian, mechanistic answer for your observations? I
read somewhere that one scientist's response to your work was that there
must be a loose wire in your lie detector.

CB: In thirty-one years I've found all my loose wires. No, I can't see any
mechanistic solution. Some parapsychologists believe I've mastered the art
of psychokinesis, and that I move the pen with my mind--which would be a
pretty good trick unto itself--but that overlooks the fact that I've
automated and randomized many of the experiments to where I'm not even
aware of what's going on, until later I study the resulting charts and
videotapes. The conventional explanations have worn pretty thin. Static
electricity is one explanation proposed. That one got printed in Harper's.
If you scuffle across the room and touch the plant, you get a response.
But of course I seldom touch the plant during periods of observation, and
in any case that response would be totally different.

DJ: So what is the signal that is picked up by the plant?

CB: I don't know. I don't believe the signal, whatever it is, dissipates
over distance, which is what we'd get if we were dealing with
electromagnetic phenomenon. I used to hook up a plant, then take a walk
with a randomized timer in my pocket. When the timer went off, I'd return
home. The plant always responded the moment I turned around, no matter the
distance. And the signal from Phoenix was just as strong as if Brian
O'Leary were in the next room. I feel comfortable in saying distance
doesn't denigrate the signal.

Also, we've attempted to screen the signal using lead-lined containers,
and other materials, but we've found we can't screen it out. This makes me
think the signal doesn't actually go from here to there, but instead is
manifesting in different places, not having to travel to be there.

This ties to my feelings about time of transmission. I suspect that it
takes no time for the signal to travel. There is no way using Earth
distances that we could test this, because if the signal were
electromagnetic it would travel at the speed of light; biological delays
would consume more than the fraction of a second it would take for the
signal to travel. The only way to test this would be in outer space.

I get support in this belief--that the signal is neither time nor
distance-dependent--from some quantum physicists. There is something
called the Bell Theorem, which states that when an atom at a remote
location changes its spin, an atom here will change instantly as well.

All this, of course, places us firmly in the territory of the
metaphysical, the spiritual. Think about prayer, or meditation. If you
were to pray to God, and God was hanging out on the far side of the
galaxy, and your prayer traveled at the speed of light, your bones would
long-since be dust before God responded. But if God, however you define
God, is everywhere, the prayer doesn't have to travel.

DJ: I'm sorry if I am being dense. Let's get real concrete. You have the
image of burning the plant . . .

CB: The image, yes. Not words.

DJ: And distance doesn't matter. So what precisely happens in that
instant. How does the plant react?

CB: I don't claim to know. In fact I have attributed a lot of my success
in being still active in this field--in having not been neutralized--to
the fact that I make no claim to that very thing. In other words, if I
give a faulty explanation, it doesn't matter how much data I have, or how
many quality observations I've made, the mainstream scientific community
will use the incorrect explanation to throw out my data and observations.
So I've always said that I don't know how this happens. I'm an
experimentalist. I'm not a theorist.

DJ: I'm still confused. What is consciousness, then? The capacity for
plants to perceive intent suggests to me a radical redefinition of
consciousness.

CB: You mean it would harm the notion of consciousness as something humans
have a corner on?

DJ: Or other of the so-called higher animals. Because plants don't have
brains, they cannot, according to western thought, have consciousness.

CB: I have a whole book upstairs on the consciousness of the atom. I think
western science overexaggerates the role of the brain in consciousness.
Consciousness could exist on an entirely different level, on the etheric
level, for example. Some very good research has been done on remote
viewing, that is, describing conditions at a distant location. More good
research has been done on survival after bodily death. All of it points
toward the notion that consciousness need not specifically be correlated
with gray matter. That is another straitjacket we need to rid ourselves
of.

The brain may have some things to do with memory, but a strong case can be
made that much memory is not stored there.

DJ: The whole notion of cellular or at least bodily memory is familiar to
any athlete. When you practice, you are trying to build up memories in
your muscles.

CB: The brain might not even be part of that loop.

DJ: I was a high jumper in college, and I knew that if I were conscious I
would miss the jump. I had to get my mind out of the way. The same is true
in basketball. If the game is on the line, the last thing you want to do
is think about it. You want your muscles to do what they do.

CB: When I got out of the navy, around 1945, I started what was at the
time the largest weightlifting gymnasium here on the West Coast. We all
understood that a part of our work was to focus on the muscle cells,
asking them to get bigger. Cellular communication with those muscles,
asking them what they want, and telling them what you want.

DJ: I'm also thinking about articles I've read on the physiological
aftereffects of emotional trauma--child abuse, rape, war. A lot of
research shows that trauma imprints itself on different parts of your
body. A rape victim might later feel a burning in her vagina. Someone who
was abused late at night might have trouble falling asleep. For purely
physiological reasons.

CB: If I bump myself, I explain to the body tissue in that very area what
happened. I don't know how effective that philosophy is, but it can't
hurt.

DJ: Let's push this notion of consciousness further. Have you done some
work also with what would normally be called inanimate materials?

CB: I've shredded some things and suspended them in agaragar. I get
electric signals, but not necessarily relating to anything going on in the
environment. It's too crude an electroding pattern for me to decipher. But
I do suspect that consciousness goes much much further.

Also, in 1987 I participated in a University of Missouri program which
included a talk by Dr. Sidney Fox, then connected with the Institute for
Molecular and Cellular Evolution at the University of Miami. Dr. Fox had
recorded electric signals from proteinlike material that showed properties
strikingly similar to modern, living cells. The simplicity of the material
being observed and the self-organizing capability being displayed suggests
to me a biocommunication capability present at the very earliest states in
the evolution of life on this planet. If true, who or what would be
communicating with this material?

Of course the Gaia hypothesis--the idea that the earth is a great big
working organism, with a lot of corrections built in--fits in nicely with
this. The planet is going to get the last word concerning the damage
humans are inflicting upon it. It's only going to take so much of the
abuse going on, and then it may well burp and snort a little, and a good
bit of the population may not be around any more. I strongly suspect that
nature has a way of handling abuse. I don't think it would be a stretch to
attribute its defense strategy to a kind of planetary intelligence. The
planet will handle it, perhaps a bit more severely than we would like. It
would be nicer if we took care of the problems, but . . .

DJ: How has your work been received in other parts of the world?

CB: The Russians have always been very interested. I remember in 1973, I
was asked to be the chair of the man-plant-animal communication section of
the first International Psychotronic Association meeting, in Prague,
Czechoslovakia, and a number of mainstream Russian scientists
attended--some claiming that they came all the way down from Moscow to
hear my talk and to interview me for additional details. I found them very
open, and knowledgeable, not like here where many people are afraid to
touch these areas of research. In many ways, they seemed much more attuned
to spiritual concepts than most scientists in the West. This may because
of the corner that people in the West have been put into by organized
religion.

I don't believe that organized religion has done a very good job. It's
supposed to tell you in a meaningful way where you came from, what you're
doing here, and where you're going, and in my opinion it fails on every
one of these accounts. This leads, so far as I am concerned, to our
present sorry state, where, to take medical care as an example, we are
faced with an awful lot of people who are tired of living and afraid of
dying. And so billions of dollars are spent to keep them in that state of
limbo. They certainly aren't happy, yet they're so unprepared for
death--so unassured as to what will happen to them in the dying
process--that there seems nowhere for them to turn.

DJ: How are you treated in the Indian subcontinent and the Far East?

CB: Whenever I encounter Indian scientists--Buddhist or Hindu--and we talk
about what I do, instead of giving me a bunch of grief they say, "What
took you so long?" My work dovetails very well with many of the concepts
embraced by Hinduism and Buddhism.

DJ: What are we as westerners afraid of?

CB: Maybe the question is, why aren't western scientists working on this
more? I think the answer is that if what I am observing is accurate, many
of the theories we've built our lives on need complete reworking. I've
known biologists to say, "If Backster is right, we're in trouble." It
takes a certain kind of character and personality to cope with that.

The big question I think we need to ask our Western scientific community
is the one the Hindu and Buddhist scientists ask me, "What took you so
long?" Scientists, and that whole community in general, are caught in a
difficult place, because in order to maintain our current mode of
scientific thought, they must ignore a tremendous amount of information.
And more of this information is being gathered all the time. I think we'e
going to see a shift in the near future. People in scientific pursuits are
stumbling all over this biocommunication phenomenon--it seems impossible,
especially given the sophistication of modern instrumentation, for them to
miss this fundamental attunement that is happening all around us--and only
for so long are they going to be able to pretend it's the result of "loose
wires."

DJ: If your work were tomorrow to be commonly accepted and acted upon, not
only by people experientially, but by the scientific community, what would
that mean?

CB: It would mean a radical rethinking of our place in the world. I think
we're seeing it already. There are some places now where insurance
companies are paying for alternative medicines. And the acceptance of
Deepok Chopra, who lectures on the very things we're talking about here,
is a big step. Now that this acceptance has started--even to a limited
extent--it will continue to pick up momentum. I'm 73 now, and even in my
days I think I'll see a revolution in perspective.

I went to a meeting in Sri Lanka last December, which had people from
India, Pakistan, a couple hundred from Taiwan, and about that many from
mainland China. Everyone got along beautifully, speaking the common
language of alternative medicine. There were very few U.S. scientists
there, which is both unfortunate and expected. We in the United States are
holdouts, but that will not last much longer. We cannot forever deny that
which is so clearly there. Mon Dec 29 20:39:18 EST 2008

A being can visualize that they can't visualize.

This happens during the key Service Fac incident of this life
during word formation.

Service Facs need at least the ability to understand words if not
speak, because they contain overts against logic. The injustice that is
'crass and blunt' as written in Advanced Procedurs and Axioms, is an
overt against logic, justifiying efforts to enslave, imprison or murder
the pc. It is a bottom scale moment for the perpetrator against the pc.

As a result of this injustice the pc first tries forthright action
and reason, but is beaten down by force and illogic that not even the
perpetrator buys. This outrages him more than the blunt and criminal
use of force.

"Fine rob me of what is rightfully mine, but don't insult my
intelligence with ass backwards syllogisms as to why you are justified."

The outrage leads the pc to using covert efforts to succumb to win
his way against overwhelming and unpropitiatable odds, amongst which
covert efforts are the postulate that postulates don't work, and
visualizing that he can't visualize anything any more.

Both of which of course work just fine.

So he ends up a black V who can't postulate anything.

This incident of degradation also hides his awareness of prior
existence to the body, and he becomes mortal looking for proof that he
has lived before.

Now having lived before is not necessary to the service fac
incident, but I assure you that if you have lived before, this incident
will have restimulated the whole track in a whopping surprise that
didn't go unnoticed at the time.

Finding and running the Service Fac incident on this life, then
provides more proof than anyone could want for their whole track and
thus handles the prove it case, who will make you wrong forever until it
is run, as it is the only proof there is and the only proof there can
be.

The proof we seek of whole track lies in confessions not gleaned
about what we have done on the whole track.

These overts are not against people, places or things, nor even
against Truth per se, but against LOGIC.

Get the illogic that even the purveyor didn't believe off the
incident, and it will free up, and the pc will see how he fell into his
own bear trap.

"Christ my mother is doing the same thing I did many lifetimes ago,
what a piece of shit she, er I, er I mean we are...hmmmm"

Co excused withholds sink into oblivion like lead in tar.

Co excused withholds are followed by silence where there ought to
be a LOT of talk.

Co excused withholds leave people resigned but not resolved with
each other, glad to have escaped with their own lives for crimes
committed long ago, in return for forgoing punishing another for crimes
committed in present time.

What is the first thing that comes into most peoples head's if
asked what they want? MONEY! that's what, which is a grave error,
money is a form of energy, so these people who want money first, What
are they really asking for?

What people really want is to be sufficient unto their own
survival, with abundance and margin for error.

The low tone will want money without working for it, but they at
one time wanted to earn their keep.

Restoring confidence and pride in one's ability to survive and
produce more than one consumes is key to the recovery of a thetan.

But that lies at the heart of the Service Fac, the postulates about
postulates, and visualizations about visualization made at the time, and
in particular the crimes against logic that were shameless, brazen,
crass and blunt.

WHAT IS PATRIOTISM

WHAT IS PATRIOTISM?

Some people have love of country confused with love of government
or the people in the government.

They further confuse this love with obedience to one's government,
right or wrong.

Remember "America, love it or leave it!"?

This was the slogan of the Nixonites who thought that anyone who
was opposed to the Vietnam war was opposed to America and thus a
traitor.

Nixon actually wanted to treat them as such!

How much hubris, arrogance, vanity and conceit can one heart hold?

Love of country is very much like love of one's high school, or
football team. "Our country is the best, go America" is like our high
school is the best.

Not only is it stupid, its bullshit and insulting to lots of other
people who love their country too.

Time to grow up, eh?

Whatever happened to love for Earth?

When will a president say "God Bless Earth!"

That said, love of country can be broken down into at least 3
separate things, not one of which is love for its government.

First is love for the land and its resources.

Second is love for its people, culture and traditions, not to
mention abilities, achievements and accomplishments.

Third is love for the principles for which the country stands.

For America those principles are:

1.) Freedom of speech

2.) Rights to privacy and private congregation.

3.) Freedom of the press.

4.) Freedom of public congregation (so one can speak and publish)

5.) Freedom of Religion.

6.) Separation of Church and State.

7.) Rule by law, not local caprice, whim, fancy or greed.

8.) Freedom of Vote, one voice one vote.

9.) Freedom to remove the government forthwith should it try to
abridge the first 8.

With every freedom comes responsibilities.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Freedom of speech means freedom to speak the truth as you see it,
it does not mean freedom to knowingly speak lies or bear false witness.

Freedom to speak also means freedom to not listen, which means
there is a time and a place for speech, public forums etc, and that such
speech should not be enforced on one at inappropriate times.

Freedom to speak is also sometimes criticized during times of war.

The idea is we need to put on a unified face to the enemy even if
we are not unified.

Showing unity where there is none produces a hypocrisy which is
particularly evil when done at the point of a government gun pointed in
your face. Would the world really be a better place if the only people
who owned guns were the government and its assigns?

On the other hand ongoing discussion about the wisdom of any war
most needs to continue during the war, because continuing a war that is
wrong is folly, regardless of desiring to save face.

NEEDING TO SAVE FACE AFTER BEING WRONG IS THE DOWNFALL OF A BEING,
BECAUSE HE TRIES TO SAVE FACE BY NOT ADMITTING HE WAS WRONG AND
CONTINUING TO DO THE WRONG THING.

The enemy knows that it is important for us to support our
soldiers, NOT OUR GOVERNMENT. If the war is the wrong, the wrong way to
support our soldiers is to force them to continue to fight to a possible
win. The right way to support our soldiers in a wrong war is to bring
them home.

The government wants the people to keep the soldier morale up, by
getting the people to voice support for the WAR that the GOVERNMENT
wants the soldiers to fight.

Do you see what a vile rip off this is?

Bear care for anyone implying that lack of support for our
government or its policies is a lack of support for our soldiers.

FREEDOM OF PRIVACY

Freedom of privacy assures us that not only do we have freedom to
speak publicly to anyone at large, but also privately amongst our own
friends, in case we don't want other's at large to know.

Freedom to speak openly and privately are the keys to a politically
sane society. Unfortunately market forces tend to try to stop people
from speaking openly or privately.

POLITICS AND MARKETS - ANONYMITY AND ENCRYPTION

There are only one set of comm lines in the world, they are all the
ways that people can speak to each other.

These comm lines have two completely different distinct usages,
often at odds with each other.

The first use is political, that means people use these comm lines
to discuss the design of society and its markets. For political
discussions to remain honest AND SAFE, freedoms to speak openly,
privately and anonymously are a must.

Encryption guarantees the right to speak privately with only those
you wish.

Anonymity guarantees the right to speak SAFELY to the broad general
public filled with murderously hostile opposing forces.

The piggies and the commies do not like each other, and will stoop
to each other's lows to do the other in.

But the second use of comm lines is to operate the markets after
they have been designed. Then speaking openly (trading mp3's of music
for example) violates desired restrictions on freedom of speech put
there by the music owners.

Even trading mp3's privately with encryption comes under attack.

Thus one has to be eternally vigilent that the market forces do not
subvert the communications lines of the world to their own selfish
intents at the expense of the body politic trying to design a society
worthy of living in.

POLICE STATES

A cop in every computer to stop child porn, copyright violations
and terrorists talking to each other would not produce the utopia one
might expect.

This is in part because criminals find safety by bubbling up into
higher and higher levels of power, particularly in the government and
police force.

When lawmakers outlaw criminals, criminals become lawmakers.

Eventually all those cops in every computer and every bed room
which you put there to protect you against criminals, ARE criminals, and
are owned and operated by criminals in power, and YOU are kept at bay
and fed double think at the point of a gun which you are paying for with
your taxes, and which you must pay because of the gun pointing at you.

EVERY MONSTER IS SOME MOTHER'S SON

Women in particular need to watch where their future sons are
heading, as working where the money is, is alluring. The son does it,
joins the police state, because he is then better able to take care of
his mother in her old age.

Women in general haven't come up to taking full responsibility for
their sons and how they turn out. Women have a hard time picturing what
an ideal man really ought to be, and thus fail in producing worthy
leaders of women and their children.

When you take a look at how women are treated around the world, it
can be appalling. Most of this suppression of women is from men who
themselves are sub civilized,

Your typical Islamic mother says to her son early on, "Little
Najib, when you grow up, you will be, Allah willing, a real *ASSHOLE*!"

But in the end the men turn out as they do because of the women who
raised them.

What would happen if all women all over the planet simply went on
strike and refused to have any more children until things changed for
them?

Think on this long and hard, the glib quick answers are unworthy.

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS

Freedom of the press runs pretty much the same way, the press tends
to be controlled by its advertisers, but that's way different than being
controlled by the government. For example after 9/11 Bill Maher took
exception to a lot of very stupid people calling the terrorists cowards.
He thought it took exceptional nerve and faith to fly a plane into a
building at 300 miles an hour and not flinch.

He commented that if you wanted to see cowardice in action, one
should contemplate Clinton's tossing a few cruise missiles at terrorists
camps from a very long safe distance away, after earlier terrorist
attacks on the Cole.

Even though his comment was directed at CLINTON, it was close
enough to impugning the courage of the military to take real action, and
thus his show was pulled by the network. The networks pulled the show
because the advertisers complained, because their BUYERS complained, not
because the government complained.

Just like lawyers can't stand lawyer jokes, and Jews can't stand
Jewish jokes, the military can't stand military jokes. Each tries to
elect itself a protected species in direct violation of most of the
freedom principles above.

And Oy!, watchout when you run into a Jewish Lawyer.

Freedom of humor, sarcasm and caricature is an important and
necessary part of freedom of speech. Witness the Church of Scientology
which punishes violently anything other than "Yes Ma'am!"

Under no circumstances do you want them running the world, even if
you are a scientologist, most of whom honestly haven't recognized where
it is all heading at the moment.

Crass Jokes from 9/11:

"What do you call the Pentagon after 9/11?"

"The Dentagon."

The most recent version of the King's James Bible says.

"If a man would take your world trade center, give him your
Pentagon also."

"News flash, today the UN agreed to divide the Middle East into 3
autonomous regions to finally guarantee peace. They would be called,
Gentilistan, Heathenistan, and Infidelistan."

Draw it out. :)

FREEDOM OF CONGREGATION

Freedom of congregation, either on the streets, or in private
residences or across the world on the internet is important because it
is congregation that allows one to speak to one another, and practice
our religions, politics and markets.

Freedom to congregate includes open congregation and private
congregation.

FREEDOM OF RELIGION

Freedom of religion is somewhat problematic in that most religions
should be wiped off the face of the Earth as soon as possible, or its
adherents jailed for mental child abuse. That includes the stupid
atheists by the way.

But it can't be the government that does it!

That said, there is nothing more insane than a religious bigot, and
nothing more dangerous than a religious bigot with the force and power
of the military and police behind him.

Thus while the people must be allowed to worship whatever devils
and hells they admire most, absolute separation of church and state must
be ensured at all times, to keep the military out of the priests hands.

The priests can't wait to get to hell.

Once the insanity of religious bigotry gets into power as the
government, the country and perhaps the planet are on their way out.

Bigotry is defined here in its true sense, the belief that some
people are irredeemably morally inferior.

Once a being gets the idea that others are going to hell forever,
they will inevitably take what ever actions are necessary to make it so,
'to help God out'.

"Hey if this asshole is going to hell forever anyhow, why not hurry
him along, maybe God will give me a brownie point!"

Also most of these nutcases hate their lives on Earth, but they
consider suicide a mortal sin, so the only way to get to Heaven is to
hurry along the armageddon process, and hope God doesn't notice how they
gave it a little push.

In truth many Christians believe that armageddon is NECESSARY to
their final salvation. This puts them into a kind of apathy about
avoiding it, because it's God's will, and they don't want to be opposed
to God, and they don't believe they could oppose God even if they wanted
to.

After talking to one of these guys after while you get the idea
that they won't be the ones to win the Nobel Prize for Peace.

Too bad they are PhD's at Cornell, you know?

There are also those of other religions that are so afraid of
temptation and committing a mortal sin for which they will never be
forgiven, that the sooner they can find a way to die the more likely
they will get to Heaven and their 72 virgins.

Further if they can die fighting in a just cause against the
Heathens, then God will forgive them for any accrued sins they might
have committed in the first few years of their life.

Thus you have suicide bombers, and little children who can't wait
to pick up a gun for the cause, or those who just want to kill as many
of the enemy as possible in one blow, just in case God is keeping count.

They don't care if they grow up or blow up.

They don't care if they leave the Earth growing green or glowing
green.

Green grass, or green glass, which is it gonna be?

But you know, when they get to heaven, its not quite what they
thought it would be. Ever taken a look at their women?

Of those 72 virgins, 30 have mustaches the size of Wild Bill
Hickock, and the other 42 are diesel dykes from hell.

There's a reason they're still virgins.

RULE BY LAW.

Rule by law is important, because it means that people are judged
by an objective eye that applies the same to everyone. The personal
caprice, fancy, whim and greed of the local population or even the judge
or sheriff generally can not rule the day.

Even little children in public schools now are spanked by
professional elected spankers, to make sure the punishment is fair and
evenly applied.

There are however two different laws, the law of the land and the
law of the sky.

The PURPOSE of the law of the land is to constrain the government,
not the people.

We don't like people stealing things from us, so we hire a
professional system of justice and enforcement. Mob justice is
notoriously bad and errant for a society, and having objective
professionals handle the bad guys from beginning to end is much more
sensible.

For one the guy robbed YOU, not the cop that comes to grab him, so
the cop can treat him with respect while you want to rip his eyes out.

Objective determination of guilt, and administration of punishment
is an important part of a sane society. The bad guys get it in fair and
reasonable measure, and few good guys get it by mistake.

Oh yes, it doesn't always work out that way, but try Russia
sometime, or Cambodia if you are looking for something better.

THE LAW OF THE LAND and THE LAW OF THE SKY

The law of the land however is not written to constrain anyone from
robbing you, it is written to constrain the professional government
which you have hired to protect you.

Notice the law doesn't say 'Thou shalt not steal', the law says IF
you steal, then the law can come after you and impose imprisonment of
not less than X time and not more than Y time.

THE PURPOSE OF THE LAW IS NOT TO CONSTRAIN THE SOVEREIGN CITIZEN,
BUT TO CONSTRAIN THE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSE TO THE SOVEREIGN CITIZEN.

The law of the land is entirely what the government can and can not
do in response to someone doing something bad to you.

The citizen is not in any sense at all morally bound to follow the
law of the land at any time, the government is. The people in
government have SWORN to uphold the constitution and laws of the land,
and thus they must do so, right or wrong.

The citizen has made no such swear of allegiance, except perhaps
for immigrants who don't have a choice, but the civil servant in
government have sworn an allegiance to the law. They have sworn to
uphold the law of the land right or wrong.

The citizen however does have a duty to obey the law of the sky.

When you die and get to the Pearly Gates, St. Peter will NOT be
asking you if you did what was legal. Gabriel will be asking you if you
did what was RIGHT.

Would the world be a better place if everyone obeyed all laws of
the land all the time?

One's moral mandate is to do what is right first, and what is legal
second.

When the law of the land is in conflict with the law of the sky,
you have a choice to make.

If you do what is legal instead of what is right, when you get to
heaven you won't get a gold star, but a brown star, for sh*thead.

Notice that breaking a law from moral mandate won't stop the
government from coming after you, the law of the land doesn't recognize
the law of the sky, although it tries to.

HIDING BEHIND THE LAW

In fact the law of the land is an imperfect human coding of the law
of the sky.

But often the law of the land is incomplete, or has had laws added
into it by criminals and thus are themselves criminal laws.

Also when laws are incomplete, people can do wrong, but consider it
ok, because it isn't illegal.

And when laws have criminal laws added into them, people will
consider something criminal just because it is illegal, when in fact it
isn't criminal at all.

Both of the above are called 'hiding behind the law':

Hiding behind the law means:

What the law says makes it right.

What the law says makes it wrong.

Criminality does not equal illegality, and trying to make it so is
in fact criminal.

Just because something is criminal doesn't mean it is illegal, and
just because something is illegal, doesn't mean it is criminal.

Illegality is defined by the law of the land.

Criminality is defined by the law of the sky.

God doesn't care about legality, God cares about criminality.

Hiding behind the law means judging what is right or wrong by
whether it is legal or illegal.

Some people will go absolutely nuts on you if you try to persuade
them that criminality has an existence independent of the law, even
though the dictionary has it right there, 2.) morally bankrupt.

FREEDOM TO VOTE

Freedom to vote is the last big one. Our fathers realized that a
true democracy, where majority vote ruled, would not work, mostly
because the masses are too stupid to know what is good for them, and
also because of the time lags that existed at the time to inform the
masses of the issues that needed handling.

Thus instead of a true democracy, we have a Republic, where people
are allowed to vote for representatives in the House and Senate, but are
not allowed to vote directly on matters of law.

It is assumed in this model that the senators and representatives
are in fact in touch with the masses they represent and either follow
their will, or at least have their true best interests in mind if they
don't follow the will of the masses.

Again this is the idea of professionalism at work, if we try to
make decisions about laws our selves, things will go to hell quickly,
but if we allow objective full time professionals make these decisions
for us, we will do better. We just have to pick our professionals
wisely.

And there in comes the rub.

America is truly a great country, not only because of its land and
people, but because of its written law and constitution keeping everyone
else in line who would seek power to their own ends.

In truth the people in America are not that much saner or less evil
or selfish than in other countries, although sometimes one has to wonder
if China isn't a dumping ground for assholes, and Russia a dumping
ground for paranoid nutcakes.

But if people are people, then the only thing that makes America
better than some other countries, is its rule by law and constitution,
which keep the assholes and miscreant sh*theads in line.

You know it might seem harsh to call some of our duly elected
representatives sh*theads, but when 9/11 happened there was a very
definite contingent of elected officials on the far right that wanted to
nuke Iraq and Iran off the face of the Earth.

They would sacrifice the lives of 100's of millions of innocent
people just to quiet a few boners.

All those innocent people are going to hell forever anyhow for
bowing and praying to false Messiahs and falser Gods, so who cares.

"Kill them all and let God sort out the few good ones." - American
Sh*thead on TV during 9/11.

Unfortunately when a country like America is infiltrated by
assholes and sh*theads, the country itself becomes a kind of outhouse
for their miscreant behavior.

Thus America may be the best outhouse on the planet, but its still
just an outhouse, you see?

You can ask how these assholes get into office, and in truth they
are elected there by people very much like them. I have many friends
who also thought we should nuke Iran and Iraq forthwith after 9/11 and
told me that's what Jesus would do.

So apparently lots of little assholes elect big assholes into
office.

REVOLUTION

The last freedom is the freedom to remove the government by force
if necessary, should the government try to abridge the basic principles
of the country.

America was born in revolution, it runs in our blood that revolution is our
heritage and legacy should it become necessary.

This means the right to keep and bear arms.

We all hate guns, but the sad truth is that when the police force
and army are so strong relative to the populace at large that the
government couldn't be removed if we wanted to, then a police state has
started to flower and WILL continue to flower until it overruns all of
civilization like a choking weed.

A police state means you pay taxes to keep the gun pointing at you
so you have to pay taxes, while doing the bidding of your slave master,
or digging your own grave.

Which brings us to the last part of this posting which answers the
question of what does it mean to be unpatriotic.

Patriotism means love of land, people and principles.

It's hard not to love the land, and some of the people, but its
really the principles that matter.

Unpatriotism means to not love or to try to undermine the basic
principles for which the country stands.

Patriotism does not mean love for government or the people in
it, and it certainly does not mean obedience or loyalty to government
right or wrong.

By government we mean the particular instantiation and
implementation of government at any given time, not the theoretic
structure of government laid out in the constitution.

Those that criticize the government even during time of war, are
not unpatriotic. Those that try to silence the critics are. THEY are
the UNAmercian assholes that need to be restrained by law and due
diligence to its enforcement so that the true principles of this country
can stand forever as truth, justice and the American *WAY*.

Beware the harbinger of protected species, or enforced silence, or
doublethink.

And should America or its government ever become the enemy of the
principles that America stood for, then I shall be a solider behind
enemy lines.

America, love it or change it.
