The problem with telling a pc he is cause, is that it doesn't work.

This doesn't mean that you should tell him he is an effect of
SOMETHING ELSE either. It's not an either or situation.

You can for example get him to see that his cause is somehow out of
control and that he is being the effect of his own cause. BY HIS OWN
CHOICE. He may not presently agree, but he can at least understand this
in theory. There are probably many such 'views', one of which will
click on your pc.

Probably the biggest problem a pc has, is HE HAS A PROBLEM AND
DOESN'T KNOW IT ANY MORE.

Thus he comes in complaining about all these 'things wrong with
him' and he 'wants to get rid of them all'. The truth is he wants to
remember what the hell the original problem was in the first place that
made him mockup all these disadvantages (surviving by succumbing etc.),
and then perhaps to get some help with that prior problem and regain
some ability to CONTINUE to mockup disadvantages if necessary to help
him better deal with the problem.

ONE of the disadvantages he mocked up was not knowing what the
problem was. But that froze him in that state of advantage or
disadvantage from there on out, as he was no longer able to monitor the
problem or how he should change with it as time and circumstances
changed around him. The problem did change, but his state couldn't, so
he got worse in life, rather than continue to track the problem and have
fun with it playing the game.

Life seems to consist in part of solving problems by mocking up
disadvantages for oneself, or at least there are alley ways of play
where in this skill is desirable. SOME disadvantages, not all, when
mocked up, prevent one from unmocking disadvantages already created, or
mocking up new ones. THIS IS A FROZEN STATE of advantage and
disadvantage, and this is what the pc wants handled. The short term
solution became a long term problem.

The biggest disadvantage there is is the inability to create and
destroy DISADVANTAGES and advantages.

Flexibility with creating and destroying advantages and
disadvantages is the essence of good play. One doesn't really ever HAVE
to stick oneself with a condition one can not get rid of to win. You
got to be good at withholding that the condition is not real though. It
was a mistake to make the disadvantage permanent even in the being's own
eyes. It was also unnecessary to the play of the game.

You can convince others with out convincing yourself.

But sometimes that's not so fun.

Run,

Define NEED as won't survive without.

Get the idea of needing to forget.

Get the idea of needing to remember.

SEPARATION AND RESISTANCE

The good guy tries to change the bad guy but does not want to be the
bad guy. Thus the good guy separates off from being the bad guy into
being only the good guy.

The bad guy wants to harm the good guy but not harm himself, so he
separates off from the good guy into being only the bad guy.

The OT is able to set up both a good guy and a bad guy and let them
go at it with each other, all the while being both.

In being both there is no pain, as pain comes from separation and
resistence.

This is a miraculous state, way beyond most people at this time.

It would be a good idea to take a risk and shell out some time to
co audit with someone on:

"Tell me something."
"Don't tell me something."

The result you are looking for is auditing is a good thing and
ought to be continued.

You don't need super powers for that, relief of impenetrable
stupidity would be sufficient.

But most don't have the courage to confront the wall of withholds
that comes up with tell me something.

They are fit neither for the Church nor a group mind and
are condemned to lonliness forever until they match up to it.

This is ADORE's view, not necessarily mine although it gave me a
viewpoint of comparable magnitude from which to dig myself out of my
hatred for women in 1985 when Adore was born.

As in all things that Adore says, you must remember that Adore is a
baby phase religion, who had as most of its problem to solve, mother,
who was a psychotic nut case of magnitude.

Please remember in ALL of this, that GMWC has very little to do
with human bodies, except to the degree that female phase beings are
usually better off in female bodies, and male phase beings are better
off in male bodies.

Phase and body sex can and does get out of sync with each other.

Thus female bodies can have serious male phase beings in them, and
male bodies can have female phase beings in them.

Also each being will have many phases in many different arenas, but
they will have one major phase for their major life goals.

GOD, MAN, WOMAN and CHILD

Normally when more advanced beings help less advanced beings the
lower being moves up a rung, and the higher being moves up a rung too
and so everyone advances along and maintains their position relative to
each other. Third graders become fourth graders, and fourth graders
become fifth graders etc.

In the case of the human condition, there are a number of
arbitraries that must be dealt with.

The woman is being asked to do something extraordinary. In the
case of a son, she is required to raise and train a child phase being
that will one day surpass her and become a male phase being.

Thus the woman is being asked to not only accept and tolerate more
advanced beings than her, but to CREATE, train, usher in, and make sure
thay become more advanced than her.

When the woman is able to do this without jealousy or resentment,
and is able to fully operate in the male all of it's male phase
abilities, then she is ready to become a male phase being herself.

Being the mother of a male is part of passing the test of being a
mother.

Being the mother of a female is also important, but doesn't by
itself pass the test.

It can be galling when a male or god phase being is stuck in a
female body, others around them will tend to treat them as a woman phase
being which will act as a wrong indication.

Thus body sex can be damning and counter productive to the phase of
the being.

One has to ask what they are doing in that gallery, i.e. being in
a body that is physically out of sync with their spirit, and get it
handled.

During times of war, when millions of male bodies are killed,
spirits come back to find to their horror that only female bodies are
available. The contention for bodies is very great.

Just as it is inappropriate for men to wear womena's clothing and
women to wear children's clothing, just so is it inappropriate for male
phase beings to take on female bodies.

Because there are no god bodies, the male thinks it is a god, and
thus never matures out of the arrogance and jealousy that is cured by
raising a god phase being more advanced than oneself.

Children grow up to be women, but women never grow up to be men,
and men never grow up to be gods, and gods do not grow up to be children
at the next grade up, so the cycle of evolution up through the grades is
not accomplished smoothly when stuck in a human body.

Particularly when one thinks one is *MORTAL* and has only one body
and that's it bud.

Once one sees that we are immortal beings, that we have had many
bodies and will have many more, we can start to choose bodies that fit
our phase in life more appropriately. The child and female phase beings
will probably be happiest in female bodies, and the male phase being
will be happiest in male bodies. God phase beings can be happy in
anything.

In truth doing wway with human bodies completely will really free
up the being to engage in all 4 phases properly.

ADORE AND WOMEN

Someone asked me "what's it with Adore and women Homer?"

Adore is based on a few simple catechisms that go as follows.

There is Child, Woman, Man and God, they represent the 4 phases of
development of any being trying to gain mastery over any area or
endeavor.

Adore makes a big deal out of the Master and Apprehentice
relationship. Notice this is not the Master and Slave relationship,
same word, different universe.

Each phase is an Apprehentice to the next phase up which is the
Master. It is very much a teaching learning relationship.

CHILD PHASE - Mastery of Total Irresponsibility.

When one first enters a sphere of action and control, one is in the
child phase which operates and learns by mimickry of those more
advanced.

It takes a lot of skill to be a newbie in an area, one has to know
that there is something to learn, that one does not know, and that
others do know.

People who walk into a bigger sphere of control and think there is
nothing there to learn, or that they already know it all, or that no one
else knows anything either, are usually a very big problem to
themselves. They are irresponsible but don't know it.

Responsibility here is defined as being able to take responsibility
OVER an existing scene and skillfully add your cause into it. It is not
being defined as being responsible FOR the scene which of course at a
top level everyone is responsible for everything, but at a bottom level,
the child is responsible for nothing.

The child's job is to TAKE responsibility over things already going
on, and add his cause into the scene in order to better it.

Thus it takes work to become a master at being a child phase being
in a new area of control. If one can not seat oneself expertly in the
seat of being a newbie, then one will make more of a mess than they are
worth, and will probably be kicked out of that sphere of control by the
others who have matured enough to actually be able to do something
there.

Thus the child phase being is seeking mastery of total
irresponsibility, knowing one does not know, that others know, that
there is something to learn, and how to start gaining responsibility,
skill and mastery on a gradient scale.

Being able to be an expert child in a new area is a mandatory
ability to gain if one is to succeed in life.

Their primary job is learning how to master their BODIES, or the
physical plane of existence, and develop a good sense of fair trade.

Adore makes a big deal about duties and rights, which are the basic
give and take of fair exchange. The basic catechism goes

"For every right there is a duty.
For every duty there is a right.

Rights are fair chosen exchange for fair chosen duties.

You CHOOSE and are responsible for both.

You have a right to have duties, and
You have a duty to have rights.

No one ever told it to you that way before.

Justice is a fair chosen operating balance of duties and rights."

When child phase beings master this, it is time for them to move on
to being woman phase beings.

Because child phase beings are also trying to attain mastery of
total irresponsibility, when they fail in this endeavor, they tend to be
irresponsible!

WOMAN PHASE - MASTERY OF DEFENSE

After a being has attained mastery of the child phase, they move
onto the woman phase which operates and learns by harmonizing with those
more advanced than her, and helping those less advanced master the child
phase and become woman phase beings themselves.

The primary ability of the woman phase being is defense of the
child phase beings under her care and support of the higher phase beings
that care for her.

"The purpose of the mother is to invent dangerous games for the
child". - Adore

It is her job to prepare the child for its own woman phase and to
pass on the male phase child at the right time to male phase beings for
real world trials of their abilities.

The primary job of the woman phase being is learning how to master
their HEARTS, or the emotional plane of existence and develop a good
sense of ART. When they master this, it is time for them to move onto
being male phase beings.

Part of their trial by fire however is raising a male phase being
through childhood into manhood without deprecating his male phase
abilities through jealousy or resentment. The ability to create
something bigger, better and greater than oneself indicates a mastery of
granting of beingness which solves all jealousies. How can one be
jealous of one's own creation?

Because woman phase beings are also trying to master defense, when
they fail in this endeavor, they become defensive!

MAN PHASE - MASTERY OF OFFENSE

After a being has attained mastery of the woman phase, they move
onto the man phase which operates and learns by counterpoint with others
of his own kind, and helping those less advanced master the child and
woman phases and become man phase beings themselves. He also supports
and learns from the god phase beings above him.

The woman phase being learns and operates through harmonizing, that
means picking a melody line already going on, and adding to it in a way
that enhances it. A harmony line can not stand alone, it needs and gets
its worth from a melody line that it enhances.

Co-Pilots can't fly alone except in emergencies.

The man phase being learns and operates through counterpoint, that
means composing a new melody line of his own which can stand on its own,
which nonetheless inter weaves properly with all the other melody lines
going on at the same time created by other male phase beings.

The child phase being is dependent for survival on the woman phase
being, more than the woman phase being is dependent on the child phase
being.

Just so the child phase + woman phase GROUP is more dependent on
the male phase being, than the male phase being is dependent on them.

One of the major differences between a woman and male phase beings
is how they handle danger. The woman phase being with child, will
protect against danger by shoring up the defenses and trying to avoid
the danger, to put herself and her children out of reach of the danger.

The male phase being will seek out danger to find it before it
finds him, and risk himself destroying the danger before it has a chance
to come and test the defenses of the woman with child.

The male phase being works on offense, the woman phase being works
on defense.

Since the best defense is community, the woman with child tends to
operate best in close in groups. The male phase being on the other
hand, needs to be able to work alone, be very fast on his feet, and be
able to think clearly when on the verge of death.

The ability to invent and design solutions to danger in times of
great threat, stress or pressure is the hall mark of the male phase
being. He works from his mind, not from his heart, or body.

The ability to endure the failure of men to provide is the hallmark
of the woman phase being.

Thus woman can endure hard times better than the man, and
the man can think more clearly in times of immediate danger than
the woman can.

It should also be noted that because the number of men and women in
a community is normally the same, as the women gather together to form a
defense, their concentration goes up relative to the men who have to go
out and spread themselves thin across a widening sphere of control.

Thus men need to be able to act alone, and women need to be able to
act together.

One presumes that a true male phase being has passed his woman
phase trials and thus is already able to act well as a team. The woman
phase being is still trying to master team work.

Adore uses the example of a community of beings being threatened by
a man eating lion that lives in a near by cave.

The women operating on defense, will build walls, put up guards,
and surround themselves at the frontier with male phase beings.

She WON'T go to the cave with her child in pappoose and try to kill
or remove the lion to a safer place.

The male phase beings will, and will do so PREEMPTIVELY even if the
lion is not yet a threat.

The woman phase being can tell their children not to go bother the
lions, and the male phase being can tell the same to the woman, but no
one can tell the male to leave them alone.

The dependency between child and woman is more immediate than the
dependency between child+woman and man. The woman will not let the
child out of her sight, the male will and must leave the child+woman and
the whole community at times. But they are left in a compound of
protection and defense.

In some animals such as the cheetah, this is completely reversed,
the male body has little to do with the protection of the child, and the
female body hides the child away while she goes out and hunts.

Bodies and phase in this case are full time out of sync naturally.

In other animals, such as the penguin, the failure of the male to
bring back food is a life and death matter for the female, who can not
leave the child, and must find another male forth with or both die.

The primary job of a male phase being is learning how to master
their MINDS, or the mental plane of existence and develop a good sense
of SCIENCE and DISCOVERY. When they master this, it is time for them to
move onto being god phase beings.

Because it is the male phase being's job to master offense, when
they fail at this endeavor, they become offensive!

GOD PHASE - Master of Total Responsibility

After a being has attained mastery of the man phase, they move onto
the god phase which operates and learns by 'new beat', and helping those
less advanced master the child, woman and man phases and become god
phase beings themselves.

The God phase being works on being able to master both sides of the
games he was just playing, and be able to design the game all over again
from the bottom to the top, and begin to design new games for himself
and others to play.

This is the New Beat. He is not mimicking others, he is not
harmonizing with others, and he is not writing melodies that
counterpoint with others, he is learning how to do something NEW, into
which others may join including himself.

When he masters this ability, there is nothing left for him in the
game he is in, and it is time for him to move into the child phase of
the next level up.

The primary job of a god phase being is learning how to master
their SOULS, or the causal plane of existence and develop a good sense
of CREATION. When they master this, it is time for them to move onto
being child phase beings at the next level up.

Because it is also the God phase being's job to master total
responsibility, when they fail at this endeavor, they become
'responsible' and try to control everything!

Because Adore is a baby phase religion, it didn't have much problem
with children, men or gods, it was most aware of women, and that was
where most of its problem lay. Thus the above was designed to handle
the problem it had with women, and is colored by it.

BODIES and GOD MAN WOMAN CHILD

Trying to apply the God, Man, Woman and child principles to human's
on earth is complicated by the fact that they have bodies that mimic
imperfectly the first three phases.

Just because someone is in a male body, doesn't mean they are a
male phase being in the primary games of their lives.

A being may also be playing many different games in life, and be in
different phases in each one.

Bodies are not necessarily handed out and chosen in a way that is
compatible with the true phase a being is in.

They *SHOULD* be, but beings tend to decay down the tone scale,
sometimes wandering randomly from male to female across many lives. One
might call this spiritual tumbleweeding.

Also spirits have so many overts as men on women and as women
on men, that for many the primary consideration on what kind of
body to take is where the spirit feels safeest.

This is downward sledding into oblivion.

Also male bodies don't get to grow up to be God bodies, and female
bodies don't get to grow up to be male bodies.

This is an *ENORMOUS* ARC break to both women and men. It is worse
for women however because she has someone lording it over her that DOES
have the qualities she seeks, thus jealousy and resentment play an
important role.

The male on the other hand wants to be a god, but doesn't believe
in gods, so he acts like a god anyhow with no one to keep him in line,
and no one to learn from.

The arrogance of men is the hall mark of failed men.

The vanity of women is the hall mark of failed women.

GRADES and GOD MAN WOMAN CHILD

The God, Man, Woman and Child sequence is a circle, once one
graduates out the top at the God phase level, they then become the child
phase being at the next level of game up. That corresponds with
mastering a certain area of life, and then moving into the next bigger
sphere of control where one is a newbie again.

A 'Grade' then consists of 4 sections of accomplishment, child,
woman, man and god. In any one grade, one starts as child, and works up
to god, and then graduates up to the next grade.

The child learns through mimickry, and seeks mastery of total
irresponsibility.

The woman learns through harmonizing, and seeks mastery of defense.

The man learns through counterpoint, and seeks mastery of offence.

The god learns through new beat, and seeks mastery of total
responsibility.

Thus two beings can be in the same grade, but one can be a woman
phase being and the other a male phase being.

In this situation, Adore would suggest that the proper relationship
between the woman and the man is one of Apprehentice and Master. Same
for child and woman and man and god within the same Grade.

Some times people marry across grades. A woman phase being will
marry a male phase being in a lower grade, this can lead to lots of
trouble and heart ache.

The man may not admit the woman is more advanced, he as a second
grader may not like being taught math by a female 3rd grader.

The woman may NEED the man to be in a lower grade to prove that
'men and women are equal', or worse 'a woman can do anything a man can
do only better'. With that man of course she is right. A 2nd grade
male can rarely best a 3rd grade female, but he might pull off seeming
equal, and will usually show up being inferior.

Scuh a woman, as a 3rd grade female, will dislike being taught math
by a 3rd grade male grader because males in the same grade as the
woman are by definition more advanced.

All kinds of mis relationship can take place.

In the above case the being needs a serious orientation to who and
what they are, and where they are and why.

Normally sane individuals enjoy learning from those more advanced
than they are, and teaching those less advanced. An ability to spot
oneself accurately in the ladder of advancement is critical to this
process and enjoyment.

If you are having marital troubles, try to determine which phase
each partner is in, regardless of their physical body, and then
determine which grade they are in relative to each other, and you will
see the source of many of the problems.

One way to do this is to hash out the Pilot / Co-Pilot problem, for
times of emergency when agreement can not be reached. Whose orders are
obeyed?

You can't have two pilots. Low grade women phase beings hate this,
men generally understand it.

Once people see and admit to where they are at, they can begin to
relate to each other properly, even if a 5th grade woman is married to a
2nd grade male. The male would be honored, as long as the woman doesn't
use her higher to avoid relating to her own grade properly, and the male
isn't jealous of those higher grade relationships.

However more often the 5th grade female seeks a 2nd grade male as a
surrogate son, and the male allows it to happen as a surrogate mother.

Likewise a 2nd grade female will seek a 5th grade male as a
surrogate father, and the male allows it to happen as a surrogate
daughter.

Adore says that for two beings to have an optimal marriage, one
should be a woman phase being and the other a male phase being, and both
should be in the same grade.

NOTHING IS SAID ABOUT BODIES.

Thus even in gay relationships, one being will be femmeish, and one
will be maleish, and the relationship can be very happy, as long as
their grades are the same and they agree with each other.

In this optimum arrangement, the child is the passenger, the mother
is the co pilot, the father is the pilot, and god is Mission Control.

THE OVERTS OF THE WOMAN PHASE BEING

The overts of a woman phase being can result from two sources.

First is a failure to learn the lessons of the child phase being.
They get kicked upstairs into first grade so to speak when they haven't
mastered kindergarten.

Second is a failure to recognize their proper relationship to the
higher phase beings IN THE SAME GRADE, men in particular.

The first overt of the woman phase being is a failure to properly
master fair chosen duties and rights as a child phase being.

They want to have rights, but don't want to have duties.

For example, they want the right to vote, but don't want the duty
of being drafted. So they vote into power people who continue to draft
only men.

As an aside, the only way to get equal rights in this world, is in
fact to demand equal duties.

You will find that those who are trying to deny the woman equal
rights are also adamant about denying them equal duties, women CAN'T be
in the army even if they wanted to etc.

That is slowly beginning to change for women and gays, but until
any group demands and gets equal duties, they will never get equal
rights.

Sometimes, as in the case of the blacks, they get equal duties, and
STILL don't get equal rights. But at least they have a case to stand
on.

The second overt of a woman phase being is a failure to operate the
abilities in male phase beings that woman phase beings don't yet have or
are not skilled at but which they need to have the male operate for the
woman+child to survive.

The same overts apply for children and men.

The child refuses to operate in the mother the abilities the mother
has that the child needs and is dependent upon.

The woman refuses to operate in the man the abilities the man has
that the woman needs and is dependent upon.

The man refuses to operate in the god the abilities the god has
that the man needs and is dependent upon.

The god refuses to operate in the child at the next level up, the
abillities the child has that the god needs and is dependent upon.

A 4th grade child can kick a 3rd grade god's butt, the god needs to
pay attention to his and other's dependencies and abilities just like
anyone else.

Failures to correct these basic overt acts lead to falling back
down into lower grades, usually thinking one has gone up.

Adore was mostly designed around the problem of MORTAL WOMEN, women
who think they live but once and that's it. Adore considers that most
mortal women, if given the choice for only one lifetime, would have
chosen to be men, and in fact are very jealous of men for their freedoms
and abilities, and having no one lording it over them the way women do.

The mortal woman detests her breasts, and detests that what will
come out of her body is a male son who will one day become and have what
the mother could never be or have.

Put any female into session and ask them "OK what did you feel
about getting your tits when you were 12?"

You will find a horror bordering on psychotic and also an
underlying cause of much breast cancer.

"Spot some no sympathy for your breasts."
"Spot some sympathy for your breasts."

The result of this mortal jealousy is a violent make wrong and put
down of the male and its abilities.

"Woman can do anything a man can do only better."

Such a woman wants to believe that men are equal to women in all
respects, that men don't have A WHOLE WARDROBE of abilities that women
do not, or they want to believe that men are actually inferior to women
and that women are better than men.

"The idea that men have something wrong with them that women don't
is something women have wrong with them that men don't." - Adore

Thus women criticize what they are jealous of, and make sure their
male sons never develop those abilities that the woman does not have,
and does not want to admit exists, or admit that she needs to have the
male operate them for her own survival.

A male is like a motor, it can do work, and if you run the motor
without putting a load on it, it will burn out or break. Just so men,
and their abilities, NEED to have a load put on their abilities, or else
they begin to die inside.

The overt of the woman then is to deny the existence of these
abilities in men, and her need for them to be operated, and a refusal to
operate them in men.

Most of the abilities that men have are designed to help the
survival of the woman+child and to counterpoint with each other. When
women refuse to operate those abilities in their men, the men go into
atrophy and psychosis.

Men take their marching orders FROM women, it is WOMAN who tells
men how to operate those abilities to provide what the woman and child
need. Just as the passengers tell the pilot where to fly. Without
those operating orders, men start to march to the beat of a different
drum, war.

Most mortal women will ask what abilities we are talking about, the
only thing they see men doing is making war and killing women! They
find this horrifying in the extreme.

Adore says, men fight war with each other, because men hate their
mothers, they need to assert their superiority, because their ascendancy
out of the woman phase is being denied and anti operated by the woman.
They can't kill their mothers, so they kill each other instead.

"Every monster is some mother's son.
Men are monsters, how do women do it?
I mean to have something come out of your cunt, and
Not know whether it is going to rape, kill or suck blood,
Must be really something else." - Adore

Well the way they do it is by emasculating the man, making them
equal to or less than a woman, which results in a psychopathic man that
will dramatize on wrong targets for the rest of time.

Adore holds woman accountable for the outcome of her men, because
these failures are created during the child phase of the man, when women
had control and authority over them.

Failure grade women on the other hand feel they have nothing to do
with how men operate and can't for the life of them figure out how women
are clearly superior to men, but men nonetheless dominate through brute
force of will.

And intelligence :)

You can spot the failure grade woman or man easily by their fast
and glib answers to the question.

There is NOTHING more dangerous than a man raised by a jealous
mother to not out rank her when he grows up.

A man without marching orders will formulate orders of his own.

Most to exterminate women.

A third failure of women comes from her failure to master total
irresponsibility as a child. This results in real irresponsibility as a
woman.

She cries 'but men keep us down'. It is true, the issuance of
their wombs IS excreable, and it is the ultimate irony that women breed
their own slave masters.

Ain't Justice Sweet?

There is a benefit in it to women, an advantage to being kept down,
which is why women allow it to continue and in fact covertly inculcate
it into their sons, so it is sure to continue.

Once women find what that benefit is, the irresponsibility for
condition will blow, and women will be come free to raise decent men
that they can count upon to provide the safe space they need to raise
their children, rather than fight intergalactic wars amongst themselves
just to kill off their own mothers.

A fourth overt of the woman is not to raise her son to out rank her
one day. She tries to be boss until the grave. It doesn't make sense
for a male phase being to take orders from a female phase being, its
just nuts and is bound to crash the plane.

We need to clarify this. The male gets GENERAL orders from the
woman, not specific orders. The woman tells the male 'build a school',
not how to build it. And sometimes if the woman is nuts, even the
general orders are nuts.

The male phase being is pilot, the female phase being is co pilot,
the child phase being is the passenger.

The mother should raise her son with the direct expectation of
handing over power to him one day. Her whole time with him should be
spent making sure that he is fit for that moment when it comes.

Although the male phase being does not take specific orders from
the woman phase being, the male phase being GETS HIS PURPOSE and thus
GENERAL orders from the child + woman group.

Child cries, woman interprets, man gets to work.

So if the woman fails to operate the male phase being's abilities
towards those purposes, the male will turn against her, overtly or
covertly, and the result will be personal or interplanetary destruction.

Don't let the sex of a being's present body on Earth confuse you to
the true phases and grades that any particular being is in.

That is low phase, low grade behavior.

END of ENDLESS NOTS

There is an unfortunate phenomenon I have noticed over the years.
It concerns the initial use, application and end phen- omenon of a "new"
rundown, level or technical action; e.g. Drug Rundown, Section III OT
COurse, Hard TR Course of 1971, etc. I am sure that you recognize the
phenomenon I am talking about. The "new" level or rundown is introduced
and promoted to the public as the end all level, which will produce
[case] states unheard of in the history of this universe, is the case
cracker for which we've all been waiting, and is the the result of
another fantastic breakthrough by Ron. There is then a rush to the
local ORG, AO, or Flag to receive this wonderful "new" rundown after
which comes a rash of success stories which truly validate the new
action as everything Ron said it would be, and even more! I've seen
this pattern repeated many times.

Since any rundown is proclaimed to be the "ultimate", I find people
pushing on -intensive after intensive- and returning for intensive after
intensive, to get this high in the sky ultimate end phenomenon or
result.

This phenomenon was particularly true with OT III where various
repairs, even the processes of "old" OT VII were [in some cases] used to
get that ultimate end phenomenon.[] But, alas, some seemed to go on and
on with no end in sight in an unending futile search for that magical,
mystical EP while at the same time getting excellent gains from OT III.

Another pattern seems to be that at first the person gets excellent
results, peaks out, and then goes into a slow or rapid decline. Some
attest at this peak; they are the lucky ones. Others, perhaps holding
onto some precious hidden standard, go on and on, searching for that pot
of gold at the end of the rainbow. After awhile, their cases begin to
deteriorate and they go into a dwindling spiral of self-invalidation,
and some "blow" with their bypassed-charge and are never heard of again.
As this happens to more and more people, stats begin to go down and Ron
steps in and announces the "END OF ENDLESS.... ". (Fill in the blank
with: Drug Rundown, Interiorazation Rundown, OT III, or whatever)

It is now found that those way overdue, actually overshot "their
EP" for the level, and either a rehab or a new level will resolve the
problem.

Have you ever noticed what happens when you overrun or overshoot
the EP of Grade 0, Communication Release? As this grade is overrun, the
very thing that it was supposed to handle begins to deteriorate; the
PC's communication, and sometimes the PC, begins to worsen. Also, the
PC begins to "pull in" the next level; in this case, Grade I Problems.

As the PC and his communication worsens, the auditor, C/S and even
the PC think that what the PC needs is more communication processes.
>From this, more and more problems overwhelm the PC and soon he is in
repair, where we hope that an observant auditor will find the overrun,
indicate it to the PC and allow him to attest. Therefore, the
indicators of [extreme] overrun are:

1. The PC overruns and develops conditions which are just the
opposite of what the grade is supposed to handle, on a worsening
downward spiral.

2. The PC "pulls in" and begins to dramatize the the next
[gradient] level.

3. If the overrun is not [properly] handled, the PC's life begins
to [noticeably] deteriorate; eventually leading to extreme mental
distress, illness, or an outright "blow".

I observed and understood that, when NOTS was first introduced, it
was designed to be a "limited" action (one or two intensives). It was
designed to handle and complete the phenomenon first encountered on OT
III. It was delivered to the PreOT as an audited action by an Advance
Courses Specialist. Simple, quick and neat and then the PreOT was to
get on with his creative processing levels of "old" OT IV, V, VI and
VII.

Then, the old ugly spectre appears: NOTS is the "ultimate" level
with the usual intensive after intensive pattern. This is great for
Flag and the AO's since NOTS is a very costly rundown. Then ecconomic
factors take over and Ron introduces Solo NOTS so that the PreOT can
take his "ENDLESS NOTS case home with him and audit it forever to his
heart's content (while continuing to pay C/S fees to Flag).

Next, we see a "new" grade chart with the "new" OT levels of
Audited NOTS, the Solo NOTS course and Solo NOTS as New OT VII. The
creative processing levels of "old" OT IV, V, VI and VII disappear (just
dropped right off the face of the earth). The Solo NOTS PreOT's appear,
auditing on for months (turning into years), to attain a far off, hazy,
but ultimate goal of New OT VII.

Ah! But wait! Ron will step in. Ron will save the day with "The
END of ENDLESS NOTS Rundown" before this beleaguered army of Solo NOTS
auditors audit themselves into oblivion and overrun. Remember the
ecconomic factors; Flag doesn't want to lose those willing to report in
at anytime and pay whatever is demanded so that they can buy this
precious opportunity to get out of this "stinking universe".

Unfortunately, Ron does not step at this time and save the day.
The rest is all history: force, more force, rebellion, more force,
declares, blows, and insanity; ad-infinitum. It is interesting to note
here that many of the old mission holders fit in the category of long
duration NOTS PreOT's.

Now, I want to make a statement from my personal experience over
the many years that I have been involved with this technology; the
statement being:

ANY LEVEL, PROCESS OR ACTION, EVEN NOTS, CAN BE OVERRUN.

My observation in the area of NOTS is:

HUNDREDS of PREOT's ARE CURRENTLY OVERRUNNING NOTS.

Also: THE PHENOMENON GIVEN IN 1 and 2 ABOVE CAN AND ARE OCCURRING
WITH SOLO NOTS PREOT's.

I have met and gotten to know many Solo NOTS PreOTs in the last two
years. Ninety percent of them (or more) who have been on NOTS for a
very long time, demonstrate some or all of the following
characteristics:

1. A kind of noble attitude of "going on" endlessly;

2. An attitude of giving up, but feeling incomplete;

3. A false pride and dedication to an EP theorized about
endlessly;

4. Outright physical, emotional, and spiritual deterioration;

5. Becoming more at the effect of life;

6. Mental instability;

7. A TA that just soars when the [auditing] subject is addressed;

8. Hidden standards that lead to unreal expectations;

9. Loss of personal power;

10. Waiting, etc.

In one case I know, an individual who had 400 hours (yes 400
hours!) of NOTS and has suffered a mental breakdown which may require
years for him to recover from. This is the most extreme case I know of.
However, I can imagine that a non-Scientologist might look at some of
these guys and and gals and wonder how someone could pay so much money
to get into such bad shape.

Again, the 3 steps of overrun are:

1. The PC/PreOT overruns and develops conditions which are just
the opposite of what the grade or level is supposed to handle. The
condition continues to worsen on a downward spiral.

2. The PC/PreOT pulls in the "next" level and begins to dramatize
that "next" level.

3. If the overrun is not handled, the PC's/PreOT's life begins to
deteriorate, eventually leading to extreme mental distress, illness,
complete mental collapse or an outright blow.

In theory, that the PreOT would begin to dramatize on a NOTS
overrun would be the creative processing levels of "New" OT VIII, IX, X
and XI (See TECHNICAL BULLETIN 18 AUGUST 1984 ISSUE I UPPER OT
SECTIONS). This means that he would compulsively create and mock up,
unknowingly, without end, totally on automatic and that means he is
going to continue to endlessly mock up a NOTS case and become more the
effect of it, forever. Then he will become more and more the effect of
life. This leads to deteriorization, mental distress, illness and
eventual mental collapse, or a blow from the subject [of Scientology].

Some Beings are stronger than others and therefore go on for years
before they self-destruct. Of course, left to their own devices, they
will probably think that all this overrun phenomenon just means that
more NOTS is needed.

Will Ron step in to save the day?

I think not. If he does, the handling which would be an END OF
ENDLESS NOTS CORRECTION LIST or END OF ENDLESS NOTS RUNDOWN will, of
course, be confidential and of no help to those who have blown or been
declared.

It should be noted that prior to the discovery of Dianetic Clear,
many thousands of people were overrun on Dianetics, even though it was
once stated that the state of clear could not be overrun. This overrun
of Dianetics did produce many undesirable mental and physical effects.
Later, these effects had to be cleaned up and handled. Similarly, the
state CAUSE OVER LIFE could not be overrun, but certainly NOTS could be
overrun, with all the resulting undesirable mental and physical effects.

We in the reformation movement (the independent field) who are
trained to this level, must take responsibility for the overrun
phenomenon since the untrained NOTS PreOT's will just continue to slip
into the effect side of life and just wait for someone else to take
action.

The project to create an END OF ENDLESS NOTS CORRECTION LIST and
RUNDOWN has begun so that we can get on with the job of delivering the
creative processing levels of "New" OT VIII, IX, X and XI, which move
the individual to new levels of causitiveness.

Your implication is that subjective implies flawed.

This is true if subjective observations are being used to learn
about objective referents, but it is not true if the subjective
observation is ABOUT the subjective experience or color form itself.

One can never know with certainty about anything other than what
one is looking at. If one is looking at his subjective color form to
determine what is true in the outside world, then of course his
observations, being done on a via, are uncertain.

Just because I SEE a Chris Schafmeister doesn't mean there IS a
Chris Schafmeister. However the fact that I SEE something does mean
that I SEE something, and that is certain.

Subjective observations are always certain when they are about
themselves, and such subjective observations are the ONLY kind of
observations that CAN be certain, because the observation is being done
on a direct contact basis and not on an implication from a via.

People have discounted the importance of observations about color
form because they are so worried about the physical universe that what
the color form IMPLIES about the external world is more important to
them than what it implies about the internal world.

You can't eat immortality.

This is short sighted though. I will admit we do need to eat, and
so uncertain knowledge gained through our subjective color form ABOUT
the hypothesized outside world is important, but it is also important to
know that our subjective color form ITSELF does not work on space-time
mechanical principles. If it did, we couldn't see it.

Machines are quite blind. They can't SEE, they can only respond.

RED COLOR FORM IS ITS OWN THING, machines can not SEE RED.

They can't see anything.

Very rare premise? That says that there ARE premises that can be
certain. You can not say I am wrong about the existence of certainty
only because it is rare. Either it exists or it don't.

Anyhow we agree that the logic of a proof can be certain, but then
we have to ascertain the possible certainty of the premises, which
themselves, to be meaningful to reality, have to be actual observations
about reality.

I agree that finding certainty in observations is hard, but only if
one is using vias to learn. This means of course that, since we use our
conscious color form to learn about the supposed external universe, and
that we can not know about the external universe EXCEPT through our
conscious color forms, that there is no hope of a certain observation
about the external universe.

Therefore all the certainty that can ever be would have to be about
our own personal conscious color forms and our self.

It also follows that proof of the existence of the supposed
external universe is impossible.

The supposed external 'objective' universe, is at best a theory
developed to model what we observe with certainty in our conscious color
forms.

Yes. If certainty is a gradient scale from 0 to 100 percent, and 0
percent means no chance of being right, and 100 percent means no chance
of being wrong, and 50 percent means total uncertainty, then what I mean
by perfect certainty is 100 percent certainty.

It is clear that if a 100 percent certainty can be wrong, then by
default any 100 percent certainty is self discounting, therefore there
IS no 100 percent certainty, and THAT would be a 100 percent certainty.

I claim that there are 100 percent certainties that can not be
proven wrong because they are clearly right, and so therefore any OTHER
certainty that was proven wrong, had to have been less than 100 percent
to start with.

Claiming you are 100 percent certain does not mean that you are.

If what you claim to be certain of later proves to be wrong, THAT
proves you weren't really 100 percent certain of it.

Sloppy 'certainties' open the door to being wrong.

You can not distinguish anything about another with certainty, only
about yourself. We are all just as blind to the nature of other people,
even their existence, as we are to the physical universe.

All we can see and know for sure is our own color TV set, our own
conscious color forms.

What other people claim, is merely what other people claim, that
must be for you, BY DEFAULT, an UN certainty.

are all logical contradictions in terms. CERTAINLY. They are
meaningless and self denying. If people can live their lives with
circular self denying statements in their repertoire of 'what's true',
then all the more power to them.

You seem to have said that logic is certain, if so, then being
certain you can't be certain of anything is being illogical. Is it
useful to be illogical?

Yes, bioconsciousness is being used as a TV monitor to display data
about the external universe, much as a soldier in a tank would use a
real TV set to monitor what was going on outside the tank, if he had

at the external universe.

I understand this, you have here demonstrated a complete grasp on
the challenge put before me.

Just as a foretaste of things to come, notice that the guy in a
tank looking at a TV monitor in order to 'learn' about what is going on
in the outside world, can not really be certain of the data coming in,
because anything might be interfering with the cause lines coming in
from the outside world to his TV screen inside the tank.

The image on the TV monitor is a SYMBOL for the external referent
that the symbol refers to and implies things about. A REFERENT is the
object in the external universe that is being referred to or referenced
by the symbol.

What he is trying to learn about is the external referent, HOWEVER
what he SEES is the symbol.

This is called learning about a cause by looking at it's effect.

The symbol is the effect. The referent is the cause.

The symbol is HOPEFULLY an accurate REPRESENTATION of the external
referent. As long as the symbol is an actual effect of the external
cause, then perhaps an argument can be made that the state of the symbol
accurately implies, follows and parallels the state of the external
cause. But there is no way to prove the integrity of the cause lines
coming into the symbol from the external referent.

At any point in the cause lines, someone or something, even God,
could be feeding in false data to the data lines. In a worst case
scenario the guy's data lines could be fed a recording of an external
universe that bore no resemblance to any actual universe present or
past.

Even if he turned the external TV cameras on themselves and their
own data lines to the internal TV monitor, if the lines were corrupt,
anything they might report about their own integrity could be wrong, and
therefore could not be trusted.

Therefore such a mechanical system of learning, which is dependent
on vias or internal symbols to symbolize external referents, HAS to be
uncertain by design.

This is what every one is screaming at me about when they tell me
there can never be any certainty. I KNOW THIS!

It is true because looking at effects (the internal TV monitor)
does not prove cause (the implied external objects represented by the
images on the TV monitor).

The establishment of the absolute CERTAIN UNCERTAINTY inherent in
learning via symbols or learning by looking at effects IS the machine
certainty theorem, namely a machine can not be certain of anything.

The only way a machine can learn about anything including itself is
via 'symbols and referents', or effects implying causes, or changes in
states here implying prior changes in states there.

There are two parts then to the MCT.

The first is to prove WITH CERTAINTY that a machine can not be
certain of anything. Considering how many of you are screaming at me
that certainty certainly doesn't exist, is dangerous, is immoral etc, I
would think this part would be easy.

The second part is to prove that a Conscious Unit CAN be certain of
SOME things concerning its own internal TV set and color forms.

This would imply that the INTERNAL nature by which a CU comes to
know of its own existence AND the nature of its own internal TV set, is
NOT a space-time mechanical process, but something else entirely.

If the process by which a conscious unit came to know of its own
existence and the nature of its own internal TV set of color forms, were
a mechanical process, then the CU could only surmise that maybe it
existed, and it could not know for sure.

It is CERTAINTY of self existence that implies that the conscious
unit is NOT learning about it self by looking at effects which merely
imply its own existence, but rather that it has direct contact WITH its
own existence.

A conscious unit learning about itself is NOT the same thing as a
TV monitor hooked up to a TV camera which is able to look at the TV
monitor. THAT may produce pretty infinite regressions, but it will
never produce a certain conclusion ON the TV monitor that the TV monitor
is there or even that the TV camera is there. The line could be
corrupted or fed a false image anywhere along the causal path. Wouldn't
you be able to see the spurious cable coming in providing the false
feed? Not if the data fed in by the false feed didn't show it!

Even if you have TWO TV cameras looking at each other hooked up to
the same TV monitor you still don't get certainty. What ends up on the
TV monitor may or may not be representative of what is really going on
in reality, in the TV cameras, in the data lines, and in the TV monitor.

There is no way you can get the TV monitor to display WITH
CERTAINTY what is being picked up by the TV cameras.

There is NO way you can hook a TV monitor up to a TV camera in such
a way that the TV monitor ALWAYS CERTAINLY displays what the TV camera
is actually pointed at.

Certainty is not possible in a mechanically linked learning system.

It has nothing in particular to do with nuts and bolts, or wires
d and electrons. It has to do with learning about causes VIA effects,
regardless of what they are made of.

There is CERTAINLY no certainty in that game.

Are we clear on this?

"During the Sea Org years, apart from the discovery of earthly and
not so earthly attacks and counterattacks, Hubbard had started to
formulate what he thought was going to be his legacy ((bequeathment))
concerning his tech. In 1968, on the ship, he gave a series of
lectures, called the Class VIII Course (ie for auditors of this
classification), which were to be the final word on the subject of
auditing. After OT III there were seemingly no secrets left. From now
on the tech was considered "standard", meaning that there was a minutely
prescribed way to go about it which would not tolerate any deviations.
All cases seemed solvable in accordance with a set pattern.

Why would Hubbard, himself the most unorthodox and 'unruly' of all
auditors, have constructed a corset like this? Probably to somehow
transfer his mastership to his pupils. In order to fully appreciate the
necessity for this new concept of "standard tech", one has to recognize
how numerous the auditing procedures of 1968 had become, compared to the
days of the Dianetics book (1950). Eighteen years of "stream lining"
(Hubbard's term) had brought about a great number of individual auditing
processes. In order to resolve the problems of his clients and answer
the questions of his auditors, Hubbard forever had to come up with new
solutions. They were distributed worldwide in the form of HCOB's and
attained, as words of the master, the status of sacred untouchability.

They were to be used as model solutions for each and every case
problem coming up in session. In the end there were so many of them
that the resulting complexity made the tech incomprehensible. Standard
Tech was Hubbard's answer to this state of affairs.

The wild growth of processes from the past eighteen years was cut
down to the most relevant ones. These were put in an order, brought
into a strict and unvarying sequence and from here on out formed the
steps of the Bridge. It was supposed to take any person from green pc
to OT, like on an assembly line.

Impressive as this technological structure may appear in theory, it
soon showed its drawbacks when it came to practical application. The
flexibility, the raw man-to-man approach of Book One (Dianetics)
auditing gave way to an unwavering rigidity. Auditing stopped being the
solution-finding dialogue between two people and was turned into a
ritualistic exercise, an application of rote procedures to all and
sundry.

This ((negative)) future development of course was not expected to
happen, when standard tech was first proclaimed in 1968. All cases were
thought to be solvable in a standard way and all pcs ((were)) to get the
same treatment wherever they went to get their auditing.

These assumptions, as it turned out, were far from true. The tech
had NOT been brought into its final form. Hubbard had to keep on
correcting and correcting and issuing bulletin upon bulletin for the
next ten years, until 1978. Pc's were NOT receiving standard tech
wherever they went; there were in fact vast quality differences between
orgs which infuriated Hubbard to no small degree. Hubbard himself of
course could do it all and was famous for it, so apparently the tech was
good enough. The weak links in its transmission were the course rooms.
Course supervisors, and therefore the auditors trained by them, were not
always able to grasp Hubbard's technical and philosophical concepts and
apply them sensibly. Hubbard countered this with the development of
"Study Tech". Its success was limited. In the end it as well fell prey
to the all prevailing woodenness of application. As a side product the
rather awkward "Scientologists Jargon" developed, much to the annoyance
of outsiders and new comers.

Despite these unfavorable circumstances, the tech still worked on
people. It led staff and public to the recognition of innermost
certainties and spiritual enhancement. One just knew that the tech was
correct and that one would progress more by further use of it.

BACK ON LAND

The Sea Org years, ((1967-1977)) as we saw before, ended in 1977
when the Sea Org moved into the Fort Harrison. Hubbard stayed in hiding
from his real and not so real enemies, he didn't appear in public any
more and lived in forever changing secret locations. OT III was the hot
and whispered about magic level; the CofS aspired to become a world
embracing business set up, ready to fight anyone by telepathic, legal or
illegal means.

The tech certainly worked; people had life-changing gains from it.
Its quality varied considerably, though, depending on the org and on the
auditor. Yet the internal group cohesiveness and the promotional
machine of the CofS allowed no criticism: Scientology was great,
auditing a heavenly experience, and Flag was the best of all.

The Church was always right, no matter how much an individual would
be wronged by it. Staff who somehow didn't make it, "went by the
boards", ie were declared trouble sources or suppressive, and forgotten.
The pc's whose cases for some reason didn't straighten out easily, soon
filled the role of guinea pigs on which auditors could test their
abilities. In case of failure they were handed over to the next higher
Org, there to have some more money drained out of them. For such people
it was not unusual to accumulate a dozen or more session folders - a
stack reaching up to the ceiling. Several hundreds of valuable auditing
hours were churned out on them with no result. In the end, when there
was no further bright idea as to what to do next, the unfortunate
victims of such experimentation found the blame put on themselves: the
CofS quite haughtily found that the pc's weren't "up to it" yet - and
dismissed them as "potential trouble sources."

This is because the only thing that can be postulated is a
limitation on beingness, by creating a becomingness, space/time etc.

The being is doing fine as a beingness, but engages in
becomingness to have fun, namely lose, suffer the joke etc.

Once he is surviving by becoming, he tries to survive longer by
making good postulates, or make things survive his own death by making
them persist longer, but eventually all is dust in the wind.

If there is a finite probability that something will happen,
given an infinite amount of time, it WILL happen.

There is always a finite probability that anything trying to
survive by becoming will in fact not survive, so given enough time it
will always die.

Thus postulates towards survival by becoming are a kind of cruel
joke, and one wonders why one's postulates don't work.

That's because postulates don't posulate ability, they postulate
DIS ABILITY.

It is the removal of postulates that leads to ability that lasts
forever, the ability of being, not the ability of becoming.

This is also why 'learning lessons' is a sure route to having a
yoke around your neck of wisdom that sinks you to the bottom of the
sea.

Freedom comes from unlearning lessons, unlearning postulates
of limitation.

The free being has no need for lessons or postulates, except to
play the games of unfreedom.

One Basic Operating Principle.

ADORE has one basic operating principle.

It is all encompassing and admits to no exceptions.

Nor does it admit to any competitors. There can not be more than
one basic operating principle. There may be other ways of saying the
same thing, but the underlying truth is ONE truth, regardless of how it
is said in what age or what language.

It can be wrong, but either it is wrong or it is right.

The only way to determine which way it is, is to apply it and see
if it works. Does it open your doors? Can you vanish your unwanted
conditions? Can you make more if you should so want?

If you don't operate it, you can't judge if it works or not.

To say that ADORE does not work, is to say this one operating
principle does not work. To say you are looking for a better way, is to
say that there is some other operating principle closer to the truth or
more workable than this one, which there may be.

Any exception that people take to ADORE, any disagreement they have
with ADORE, any complaint they have with ADORE can only be with this one
single solitary operating principle.

Of course there will be those who will try to overwhelm you and
create unwanted conditions for you by the barrel full, in order to prove
to you that you have failed and that your operating principle does not
work.

They will do this regardless of what operating principle you chose.

However if your operating principle does work, you should be able
to apply it to THEM as just one more unwanted condition. Perhaps this
is the final test of any basic operating principle underlying Eternal
Omni Sovereignty.

In the end, when the far future is here and those of us who are
going to make it to our Sovereignty and Freedom have done so, we will
look back on all the truths and operating principles we have tried and
thrown away. We will also look upon the ones we saw fit to carve in
stone so that others might not throw them away because they worked.

I believe that among those that will still be revered will be this
one present operating principle of ADORE.

The WAY IN is the WAY OUT.

Thus if you deny ADORE or its usefulness to your lives, you are
saying there is another WAY OUT besides the WAY IN.

Maybe there is a back door to your prison, but the front door by
which you entered it still there.

Maybe there is another way out, but the way in will be there for
Eternity in this and all future games that you enter.

It can be no other way.

You can not be IN a game without ENTERING a game.

To deny this is to deny full responsibility for your condition.

The ENTRANCE is always there.

People who look for EXITS have lost sight of the ENTRANCE.

Responsibility is a big thing.

This is roughly taken from Dianetics Today with alterations.

It is supposed to be run on reading items and on all four flows for
each reading item and reading flow. It works best in new hands when run
absolutely muzzled, meaning the new auditor must not talk, chatter, make
comments, give sympathy, or otherwise distract from the exact commands
of the process.

Remember that charge blows finally and completely in the pc when
the pc receives the auditor's ack. Therefore learning how to ack
properly can be the difference between an ARC broke pc and a happy pc.

THE POINT OF AN ACK IS TO MAKE THE PC UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS BEEN
UNDERSTOOD AND LIVED THROUGH IT. An ack is anything therefore that
accomplishes this, whether it be the nod of a head, the look of an eye,
or "Ok, I got that already!"

Acknowledgment is not just in how you say, "OK, I got that", or
whatever, it has to do with your whole presence and understanding, which
is why you never let something go by you don't understand. Even if the
pc thinks you are a dolt for not getting what he is saying, he will hate
you more when he begins to suspect 10 minutes later that you didn't get
something.

He will wonder why you didn't bring it up when it first confused
you as an auditor, and it acts as a missed withhold to him as it leaves
him wondering if you know what he's been talking about. He will feel
like he has been talking to the air, rather than a living being. So
telling the pc once in a while 'I didn't get that', actually lets him
know you are listening, even if it does distract him a bit during
session.

Try not to be interruptive about it though, you can knock a cog
back into oblivion by interrupting a pc's cognition flow, and the pc
will never forgive you for that, NEVER. So wait until the pc is
finished with the comm, then mention "I didn't get something" and have
him go over it again.

THE AUDITOR'S CODE AND THE PC'S CODE

Remember that there is an auditor's code which makes it possible
for auditing to happen, because if the auditor breaks the auditor's code
the pc won't talk to the auditor any more. It's as simple as that.

There is also a pc's code which is the code the pc has to live up
to for the auditor to be willing to audit the pc and take his money.

Both pc and auditor must have explicit agreements on the subject of
the auditor's code and the pc's code. What does the pc expect of the
auditor? What does the auditor expect of the pc?

For every duty there is a right, and for every right there is a
duty. For every duty that the auditor has in the auditor's code, the
auditor has a right to expect something of the pc. And for every duty
the pc has in the pc's code, the pc has a right to expect something of
the auditor. Get it worked out early for smoothest results. It's a
contract of sorts between two parties who are engaged in a cooperative
adventure.

Filbert used to tell me there were three reasons he audited.

For the cogs, for the jokes and for the money, in that order of
importance.

So don't get the idea the auditor does not benefit from the
experience. It is that benefit which ties the auditor to his duties to
follow the auditor's code, as he won't have any pc's to benefit him if
he doesn't.

Likewise it is the benefits of being audited that ties the pc to
his duty to follow the pc's code, because he won't have any auditor's to
audit him if he doesn't.

This is what Ethics is about. When the auditor breaks the
auditor's code, or the pc breaks the pc's code, into Ethics they go.

THE R3R PROCEDURE (Routine 3, Revised)

R3R is a Standard Scientology term used to refer to an exact
process used by the Church to run Dianetic incidents. The following is
NOT an exact replica of this process. It was changed and reworked by
LRH a number of times, particularly when New Era Dianetics came out.
However all of the various standard versions of R3R are very close to
each other in intent and pattern, and the following is representative of
R3R style processes in the Free Zone.

The first command is shown below for all 4 flows, the rest are
given only for flow 1. The other flows only effect line F.) below.

1.1) "Locate an incident of another causing you ....."
1.2) "Locate an incident of you causing another ....."
1.3) "Locate an incident of others causing others ..."
1.0) "Locate an incident of you causing yourself ...."

2.) "When was it?"

Take what ever pc says. Does not have to be exact.

3.) "Move to that incident."

4.) What is the duration of the incident?"

Take what ever the pc says. Does not have to be exact. Duration
always turns on picture. If it is omitted, the pc will run black - no
picture.

"A long time" is fine. "15 trillion 243 billion, 123 million, 645
thousand, 731 years, 15 days, 24 minutes and 2 seconds' is fine also.
Write it down and be able to give it back EXACTLY as said.


5.) "Move to beginning of that incident, tell me when you are
there.

6.) "What do you see?"

7.) "Move through the incident to a point (duration) later."

Use pc's exact wording for duration.

My experience is that exact wording can be critical. Remember that
the auditor commands the somatic strip and thus controls the bank. If
the pc says "A long time", and the auditor says in line 7.) below,
"Move through the incident to a point "very much later", the bank will
crash.

8.) Let pc run through incident, quietly acking anything he says
with this exact acknowledgement "Okay, continue".

NEVER USE 'GO ON'. Use CONTINUE.

When pc reaches end of incident,

9.) "What happened?"

Take whatever pc says, let him complete, and ack. Say nothing
else.

SECOND PASS

A. "Move to the beginning of the incident,
B. "Tell me when you are there."
C. "Move through to the end of the incident." (Don't use 'scan')
D. "Tell me what happened."

If TA rising goto directly to F.

E. "Is the incident erasing or going more solid?"
If erasing goto A until F/N, Cog, POSTULATE, VGI's.

F. "Is there an earlier incident of another causing you...?"
If yes goto step 1, or 2 if already 'located'.
