COMPETITION

The problem with the human species is only desperate need produces
innovation to make a better product. Without the fear of non survival
bothering their complacent bellies, that strong competition provides, most
humans will sit around and suck on their bottle and do nothing all day long.

That's called Eternal Childhood.
