This won't work by definition.

Basic dicotomies operating here are

Danger Safety
No Danger No Safetey
Infinite Danger Infinite Safety
Too much Danger Too much Safety
Too little Danger Too little Saftey

Answer to question 'What would happen if you found out?' is Self
Obliteration.

So then run on entire tone scale from Sovereignty on down to
Spiritual Death, including humor, seriousness, importance, permanence
and pain:

"What ______ would you be willing to find out?"

i.e.

What happiness would you be willing to find out?

What interest, conservatism, boredom, antagonism, anger, fear,
sorrow, apathy, guilt, blame, shame etc, would you be willing to find
out?

That should provide some movement and some VGI's.

The Black V is looking at an inconceivably bad future, in fact
its so bad he doesn't have one, eventually he becomes mortal so he can
die and end it all for good one day.

"Earlier similar lifetime you were mortal?" might run after the
above starts to open up, but he has to be able to see first.

Seeing, looking, knowing, emoting, feeling, understanding, being
the effect of, being the cause of etc, are one humongous package. It's
not just a Black 5, but a Black quite a few things.
